The twelve new celebrity dancers and their professional dance partners finally took over the dance floor to show their dancing skills for the first time at the Dancing With The Stars season 13 premiere on Monday (September 19). Nancy Grace and her partner Tristan MacManus danced the Cha Cha to the sound of “Cry Baby” by Cee Lo Green (watch video below).

Wow. I was impressed. I was truly expecting Nancy to become a lifeless Kate Gosselin 2.0., but the woman is sassy and she knows how to work those twins. And when she came out from behind that desk and stripped off her coat, Nancy owned it! Work it, grandma! Please keep this woman in the competition for pure entertainment value.

Len Goodman was underwhelmed. Bruno had no idea Nancy was so “lavishly gifted”, claiming she’s got the moves, but needs to start believing in herself. Carrie Ann Inaba thought she was cute and a happy dancer, before asking Nancy to work on thinking less and acting more.
