Amazon released it’s new Kindle Fire (Full Color 7″) to rave reviews. The new Kindle is touch-screen and full of color unlike all the prior versions of the popular reading device.

This one is centered around the storefront and Amazon Prime (which includes free streaming content as a member of AP).

The Kindle Fire is not just a book reader though, it’s a portable tablet device to play games, apps, listen to music, and watch movies and television shows on.

Amazon appears ready to go to war with Apple’s iPad. At $199, Amazon might actually give Apple all the competition it wants.
