Actor Leo O’Brien, best known for his role as Richie’s brother, Bruce Leroy, in “The Last Dragon” (pic above), was shot in the stomach and left arm by an unidentified 50 year-old man in broad daylight in Harlem, New York on Monday (September 5).

The suspect was immediately taken into custody and booked for criminal possession of a firearm and attempted murder, while the 42 year-old actor was rushed to a nearby hospital to be treated for the gunshot wounds.

Fortunately, Leo is expected to make a full recovery. However, the actor has absolutely no idea why the armed man would want to hurt him. Leo told TMZ, “In life, sometimes sh*t happens … but I’m alright and doing better.”

And someone’s life could have ended after what seems like such a random act of violence in old NY. I’m surprised Leo is taking this so lightly. We wish Leo a full and fast recovery.

“The L Word” star Laurel Holloman, best known for playing bisexual Tina Kennard in the Showtime’s hit show, reportedly decided to separate from her husband, architect Paul Machery, last year, but only filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences earlier this month.

Laurel and Paul have been married for nine years and they have to daughters together – 6 year-old Lola Reiko, and Nala Belle, who was adopted by the family in 2008. The 40 year-old actress requested that her husband is denied spousal support and is seeking the joint physical and legal custody of the kids.

Actor Cheyenne Jackson and his longtime partner Monte Lapka finally tied the knot in a private beach ceremony in the Hamptons on Saturday (September 3).

“Shear Genius” judge, Jonathan Antin, the brother of Pussycat Dolls founder, Robin Antin, and best known as the infamous owner of the Jonathan Salons in Los Angeles, was dumped by his wife, Sescie Antin, who just filed for divorce.

Sescie and Jonathan have been married for almost five years after tying the knot in 2006, and they have two young children (five and four years old) together. Sescie seeks primary physical custody and joint legal custody of the kids.

The couple signed a prenuptial agreement, which states the hair salon honcho will have to cover mortgage and all home expenses until their youngest child is 21 years old. That equals seventeen years of sacrifice for the children!

“That’s So Raven” star Orlando Brown was arrested and now charged with two counts of DUI after being arrested last month (on August 12). The 23 year-old was originally stopped by the cops for driving a car with no license plate near his home in Los Angeles, California.

Orlando was not alone in the car – his pregnant girlfriend was a passenger while he was sitting behind the wheel clearly drunk. The police officer noticed the smell of alcohol before asking him to take a breathalyzer test. The actor’s blood alcohol level (0.17) was more than twice the legal limit in the state (0.08).

Orlando was promptly arrested and, if convicted, he might spend several months behind bars. How irresponsible? He was drunk and still got behind the wheel with a pregnant lady in the passenger seat. Do not drink and drive.
