After the blowout between Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro on Sunday night’s episode of The Jersey Shore, the tally of Shore castmembers sporting neck braces this season has risen to an astonishing two!

Okay, well maybe that’s not that shocking of a number, but I seem to remember a day when going on a reality TV show didn’t guarantee  a trip to the ER – these days you’re lucky if you make it through a season without five or six black eyes, a ruptured spleen and several hundred panic attacks.

It’s still unclear whether or not Sitch’s brace was a medical necessity or if the media whore was just looking for another way to gain some sympathy from his female constituency in Florence, but one thing is for sure – the juicehead slammed his own head against a wall and sent himself to the hospital.  This guy needs to be medicated – heavily medicated.

Especially since the only revelation he got from this whole cluster-you-know-what was, “For the next couple of days I can’t GTL… I’m disappointed.”

Holy short-sightedness, Batman!  Are you serious!?

Teen Mom 2 star, Leah Messer, has had her share of bad luck in the love department.  Only five months after filing for divorce from ex-husband Corey Simms, the super cool father to her 18-month-old twins, Aliannah and Aleeah is very publicly dating 16 & Pregnant star, Nikkole Paulun.

Gross.

But it looks like some better times are on the horizon for the 19-year-old.  Life & Style recently reported that the teen mama is happily dating Jeremy Calvert – the two were spotted canoodling in West Virginia late last month, looking very much like a couple.

According to a source,

They knew of each other before, but recently reconnected through mutual friends… Leah and Jeremy hung out in the same groups. One day, they started talking, and that was it.

After all the bull —- Corey put Leah through, I’m glad she’s found someone who can make her and the girls happy.  I just hope Mr. Calvert is ready to be a father figure for those two precious little girls!

As if seeing the cast of Jersey Shore once a week on the small screen wasn’t delightful enough, now you can see them live and on stage!  Well, kind of.

Playwrights/geniuses Daniel Franzese and Hanna LoPatin are capitalizing on the enormous success of the GTL-ing franchise by writing and staring in their own, satirical adaptation of the MTV reality hit.

They call it: Jersey Shoresical: A Frickin’ Rock Opera.

It’s like the Reality TV Gods can read my mind!

The show has been received to critical acclaim, winning the ensemble award at the 2011 New York International Fringe Festival and booking six additional performances at the festival’s encore series. But Franzese and LoPatin, who star as the star-crossed lovers, Ronnie and Sammi, respectively, can’t take all the credit for the show’s surprising success.

The cast, which features Max Crumm, as Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino serenading his own reflection with a power ballad love song and Karen Diconcetto, who plays Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, crooning over a jar of pickles about wanting, “a gorilla juicehead to love me forever.” shines brighter than any star on Broadway.

But the pin in the grenade?  (That’s Shore talk for “the icing on the cake”.)  A dude plays JWoww.

Former Spice Girl/reality star Melanie Brown (aka Mel B) and her husband Stephen Belafonte have welcomed their first child together, a healthy baby girl, in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (September 1).

The new baby girl’s name hasn’t been revealed yet, but Mel’s rep confirms that both mom and baby are doing well, healthy and happy. The 36 year-old apparently had a very good labor experience since she claimed hard laughing was enough to push the baby out.

Mel tweeted, “Finally our baby arrives,Stephen nearly passed out,Phoenix screamed,I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!”

“I wanna thank you ALL for your beautiful well wishes,it means a lot to me,you guys are the best,I am SOOOOOO blessed my heart is melting!!”

Mel is not cursing her husband’s existence, she is expressing her love via Twitter – it must be true love! Mel already had two daughters from previous relationships: 12 year-old Phoenix, and 4 year-old Angel; while Stephen is the father of 6 year-old Gisele.

Jennifer Lopez’s estranged husband, Marc Anthony, broke the silence for the first time and denied cheating rumors in an exclusive interview with John Quinones for ABC’s “Nightline” on Thursday (September 1)- watch video below.

Marc and Jennifer apparently had a blast with all of the affair rumors coming out of nowhere, until they realized those rumors were actually hurting other people. For example, their good friends, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, who Marc was rumored to have a torrid affair which eventually broke his marriage.

“I’m always going to be Daddy… And they’re used to me traveling and Jennifer traveling and, you know, we speak all the time, and try to maintain that presence,” Anthony said.

Jennifer is ready to move on, but Marc guarantees that her success on American Idol and possible professional jealousy had nothing to do with their surprising separation just a couple months after the two delivered quite a steamy performance on Idol’s big finale (watch video HERE).

“I think anybody will tell you how I supported her, from day one. I’m really, really happy for her. … We’re going to be in each other’s lives for many, many, many years, and I’m glad that our friendship is that strong. … What would make it difficult is if we didn’t get along,” he said.

“Being Puerto Rican, born and raised on the streets of New York, you go, ‘Wow, you’re still friends with your ex, man? Really? That’s weird.’ I don’t play that,” he said.

Marc and Jennifer plan to continue being good friends, supporting each other and raising their kids together. As Marc said, it’s not a funeral, no one actually died. People change. They grow and move on.

Do not mess with mama Cher! The 65 year-old singer took to her Twitter account to defend her son Chaz Bono, who will become the first transgender contestant on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars, against the critics and mean-spirited people who are viciously attacking him for no apparent reason.

Actor David Fisher, who currently portrays a CIA agent named Trent Kort on “NCIS”, was arrested for suspicion of felony battery after he allegedly tried to choke a neighbor during a heated argument in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (September 1).

David reportedly approached the neighbor when he was hanging towels outside. The two argued about laundry and things got physical. According to the poor neighbor, David lost his mind and choked him, before he managed to escape and call 911.

When cops arrived at the scene, the actor was arrested and the neighbor was taken to the hospital. David was booked for felony battery and a bail was set at $50,000.

Jersey Shore star, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is saying “sayonara” to her signature “poof” and whether you like it or not, that’s news.

The 4’9″ Guidette lopped of her a huge portion of her lustrous locks just days before hitting the VMA red carpet.  A bold move for a girl, who singlehandedly made the “poof” a household name.

Antonio Rosa, prominent NYC stylist to the stars, told Us Weekly that Snooks was all about changing up her look and wanted something reminiscent of the ultra-glam bangs she rocked late last year.

She hadn’t done bangs since she was a child… She was very, very nervous, but she loved them.

…and the whole world breathed a sign of relief.

The ever-enthusiastic Snooki took to her Twitter Saturday to announce to her nearly 3 million followers: “Got my bangs back biAtches.”

Jersey Shore’s DJ Pauly D is making a name for himself in Hollywood – and, surprisingly, it’s not for his antics on the hit MTV reality show.

Perviously, Pauly D has paired up with pop icon Britney Spears and hip hop artist, Nicki Minaj and now the Rhode Island native is hitching his star to rapper, 50 Cent, to record his very first album – and the 31-year-old couldn’t be more excited.

I’m focusing on music. That’s my passion. I’m working with 50 Cent right now. I’m going to do an album with him. It’s going to be a little bit of everything. It’s almost like DJ Khaled and kind of David Guetta but my own DJ Pauly D style.

This isn’t the first time Pauly has been recognized for his skills spinning on the 1′s and 2′s.  He’s been named the “exclusive resident” DJ at  The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and was voted the 8th Best DJ in America last year.

ABC recently released the cast list for season Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars and, wouldn’t you know it, none of BRAVO’s Real Housewives graced the list.

Shocking right?

According to an inside source at DWTS,

They have no interest in having any of the ladies on the show… Season after season the housewives pitch themselves to grace the dance floor and season after season the show says thanks but no thanks.

I’m sorry, but are reality TV shows really becoming elitist now?  How is Rob Kardashian any more of a “celebrity” than Bethenny Frankel?  DWTS, you are being lame.

A recent Huffington Post report confirmed that DWTS has very intentionally left the BRAVO-lebrities off their dance card.

Initially everyone assumed the ‘Housewives’ had been asked but Bravo had not allowed them to do a show on another network. But now it is clear Bravo would love its franchise to get exposed to 20 million viewers. However, they are just not welcome at the dance.

Not welcome at the dance?  You know what shouldn’t be “welcome at the dance”? Nancy Grace’s angry rear end, shoved into a leotard like a stuffed sausage.

ABC, we implore you!  Let the Housewives dance!
