All good things must come to an end. Actor Leonardo DiCaprio and Gossip Girl star Blake Lively have decided to end their relationship after dating for almost five months. The decision to part ways was mutual and the two will remain friends, according to their reps.

When Leo and Blake met, the 24 year-old actress had came out of a long relationship with her GG co-star Penn Badgley, and the 36 year-old had also put an end to his on and off romance with model Bar Refaeli.

The lovebirds sparked romance rumors as they were seen getting cozy aboard Steven Spielberg’s yacht in Monte Carlo during the Cannes Film Festival in May. Blake and Leo seemed to be totally smitten, so the break up came as a surprise to some of the actor’s closest friends.
