The eight remaining celebrity dancers and their professional dance partners paid tribute the crazy 80’s during the Dancing With The Stars live show on Monday (October 17). Carson Kressley and his partner Anna Trebunskaya danced the Jive to the sound of “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go” by Wham! (watch video below).

During rehearsals, Carson and Anna tried to find a balance between technique and performance, which was kind of hard because Carson has this big personality that just went into an overload as an 80’s colorful and tacky cheerleader. What happened on that dance floor? That was such a hot mess… and I LOVED IT!

Len Goodman said it was not good enough, but if he was judging with his heart, Carson would be back next week. Bruno declared that performance was a crowning achievement in madness, describing it as wacky fun and “loopier than a Looney Tune”. Carrie Ann Inaba just expected more technique in week 5 of the competition.
