The eight remaining celebrity dancers and their professional dance partners paid tribute the crazy 80’s during the Dancing With The Stars live show on Monday (October 17). Hope Solo and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced the Tango to the sound of “Livin’ On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi (watch video below).

Hope and Maksim sure have an interesting relationship, but he still could not convince her she is a true performer. This tango is a bit too awkward for me. It’s a rocker’s tango and ends with a fantastic headbang and microphone toss. That was rocking hot, but where was the Tango? Maksim is using and abusing gimmicks all over again.

Len Goodman liked the aggression and attack they put into the dance since Tango is all about action and reaction, but claimed it sometimes became a bit too “filleted and willowy”. Bruno thought Hope really turned into an 80’s “super-b*tch”, while Carrie Ann Inaba warned them that sometimes “less is more”.
