The seven remaining celebrity dancers and their professional dance partners took the dance floor for Broadway-inspired performances and a final group dance during the Dancing With The Stars live show (week 6) on Monday (October 24). J.R. Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff danced the Quickstep to the sound of “Hot Honey Rag” from Chicago (watch video below).

Karina is pushing the limits with the routine this week because she believes J.R. can do it. He was a bit intimidated, but he nailed it. That was fun, exciting and believable. Broadway style! Amazing. LOVED it! This was without a doubt the best performance of the night. Go J.R.!

Len Goodman was clearly happy with this performance, telling J.R. he is relentless and came up a notch. Bruno called it a “rip-roaring, audience-rising, eleven o’clock number” that makes the show a hit. Carrie Ann Inaba claimed Bob Fosse would have been really proud.
