The competition between “The X-Factor” star judges, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid, is getting nastier and dirtier by the minute. L.A. is ready to do “whatever it takes” to win, including playing “mind games” and “dirty tricks” to achieve his goals.

According to an inside, L.A. allegedly said, “Even if I have to give really bad advice to the other contestants when their mentors are not around … I will!”

And of course, Simon is aware of L.A.’s scheme, is absolutely furious, and apparently decided to confront the fellow judge. The two judges are both known for being ruthless and the competition is just starting with the live performance tonight.

At this stage in the competition, each of the judges has a specific team to mentor. Paula Abdul will be helping the groups. Nicole Scherzinger is with the over 30’s. And Simon and L.A. are mentoring competing groups, girls and boys, respectively.
