Andy Rooney Hospitalized In Serious Condition

Iconic “60 Minutes” host, Andy Rooney, who just retired from the show three weeks ago, was hospitalized on Tuesday (October 25), and is currently in a serious yet stable condition after developing complications following a minor surgery.

The 92 year-old writer’s family did not release specific details about his condition or where he was hospitalized. Andy delivered his first infamous essay (“A Few Minutes with Andy Rooney”) on July 2, 1978, and say goodbye with his final essay (the 1,097th) on October 2, 2011.
