American Idol judge Steven Tyler, who is currently touring with Aerosmith in the Latin America, was reportedly rushed to the hospital after falling in the shower, knocking out a few teeth and suffering several cuts to his face, while he was taking a shower in his hotel room in Paraguay on Tuesday (October 25).

Fortunately, the 63 year-old singer’s injuries were minor and he was already released from the hospital. Unfortunately, Aerosmith had to reschedule Tuesday’s concert to tonight (October 26), and Steven will be personally apologizing to the fans for any inconvenience this may have caused.

A rep released the following statement: “Mr. Tyler had a small accident that prevents him from staging the concert tonight. He is fine, he’s in his hotel but he’s not able to do the concert.”

According to TMZ, Steven was suffering from dehydration as a result of food poisoning when he collapsed in the shower. Poor Steven. A couple of years ago, the Aerosmith frontman also broke shoulder while performing on stage after another nasty fall.
