The Stereo Hoggz (Team Paula Abdul) tried to impress with a typical boyband rendition of “Try a Little Tenderness” by Otis Redding at the “The X-Factor” first live show on Tuesday (October 25)- watch video below.

Wow. The boyband act brought me back to the 90’s and I actually thought they were the Backstreet Boys before they gave it a more modern R&B sound mixed with some rap. I would call The Stereo Hoggz a guilty pleasure, but not a successful recording boyband.

Nicole Scherzinger described their performance as the perfect combination of modern and classic. L.A. Reid had to agree The Stereo Hoggz were good, while Simon Cowell struggled a bit to admit Paula Abdul, who was very proud of her boys for their hard work, did a good job.
