Lionsgate released a series of promotional posters for the highly anticipated movie “The Hunger Games”, which is an adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel of the same name, featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen and Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne (see posters below).

The posters of the eight main characters also include Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy, Amandla Stenberg as Rue, Alexander Ludwig as Cato, and Lenny Kravitz as Cinna.

“The Hunger Games” directed by Gary Ross is scheduled to hit theaters on March 23, 2012.
