The 31 year-old actress did an incredible job. Who would have thought she was such a great singer!?Well, Zooey sings her own “New Girl” theme song and is also part of the “She & Him” recording duo. I just wasn’t expecting Zooey to be such a good performer.

Despite Zooey’s more than satisfying performance, the actress, who was seated with her castmates in some pretty expensive seats, just left before the end of the game. This was noted by the Fox announcer Joe Buck, who did not lose the opportunity to take a stab at the FOX’s new sitcom star.

He said, “A lot of times, the stars have their moment on TV and then they just bolt.” Then the camera cut back to Zooey’s empty seats, and he added, “Maybe they’re just out getting a snack … all of ‘em at once.”

Zooey took to her Twitter to explain her early departure. “Would have loved to have watched the whole game but I had to catch a plane so I can go to work tomorrow. That’s all guys. I’m not a jerk,” she wrote. Apology accepted.

Top Chef: Just Desserts season one finalist Morgan Wilson has been charged with possession and intent to distribute child pornography.

The 38-year-old chef, who has worked as the executive pastry chef for the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas, was indicted on three second-degree felony charges. He could face up to 10 years in jail if convicted.

Former “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, Dina Manzo, who left the show to protect her personal life and get her own reality show (“Dina’s Party”) on HGTV, tells the whole truth and nothing but the truth about Bravo’s hit show in a special blog post on her official website. Dina also promised this is the last time she will talk about that part of her past.

The 29 year-old housewife claims she had to leave the show after season 2 because of “all of the toxic behavior” and admits she did indeed distance herself from all the housewives. Dina wrote, “It’s a shame this TV show used to be about our lives and now some lives are just about a TV show. That’s not how it should be.”

Dina really hopes the show can take a higher road and starts portraying these women on a more positive note, showing what they are really capable of and their friendship, which should be much more important than a reality show.

“Unfortunately, not sure what the ratings on that would be, so I doubt that will happen.”

That’s right. No one wants to see successful women be successful and friendly. We would rather watch them discussing irrelevant issues, fighting over some petty stuff and backstabbing their family and friends. That’s what is good for ratings and that’s what “The Real Housewives of…” is all about.

On the feud between her sister Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice, Dina wrote:

“If this is all about a joke in a book (and [Teresa] assured me it was) that’s not enough for me to hate the mother of my God daughter and a friend of 15 years,” she writes. “Was it necessary to write that stuff in her book? Probably not but I don’t think it was written with malice either.”

Dina adds: “I feel bad that my relationship with my sister and her family is strained, but I can assure you that one day it will be back to the way it was.”

One day? One day probably after they are done with “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and no one no longer remembers who they are or who they used to be. Dina’s decision to leave the show was probably one of the smartest things she has ever done in her life, but not taking her sister’s side on this feud might lead to a whole lot more drama in the future.

Newlywed Kim Kardashian has been cast in Tyler Perry‘s upcoming flick The Marriage Counselor.

The movie is adapted from Perry’s play by the same name and is about a newlywed marriage counselor, Judith (played by actress Jurnee Smollett), who’s successful in her job but struggles with her marriage.

Seven-time Grammy winner John Mayer is currently recovering from a throat surgery he had on Thursday.

Mayer wrote online:

“It’s been a very long process in waiting to see if time was an alternative to surgery, but even given two weeks voice rest (along with many other approaches), there was no change for the better.”

“I should be frustrated but I can’t seem to stop thinking about beautiful things… I have this beautiful, meaningful record waiting for me when I can sing it.”

His fifth album, “Born and Raised,” was scheduled to be released this fall, but has now been postponed until sometime next year.

Country singer/songwriter Loretta Lynn was hospitalized with pneumonia and forced to cancel a concert at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky on Saturday night (October 22).

The venue’s official website announced the concert would be rescheduled to another date and time in the near future. The 76 year-old was went under the knife for knee replacement surgery last month.
