Peggy Tanous Leaving RHOOC

Real Housewives of Orange County star Peggy Tanous has announced that she will be leaving the BRAVO franchise, effective immediately.

The mother-of-two confirmed her decision via a Facebook post, Tuesday – because, what is more official than a FB status update?

After months of negotiation and soul searching, I have declined [Bravo's] offer to return to the show… I just felt in my heart that…the time it would take me away from my family was just not a healthy path for me.

With other Housewives are speaking out against the “unhealthy” nature of the BRAVO reality series, Tanous is saying quite the opposite, crediting her experience on RHOOC with helping her overcome the postpartum depression she suffered after the birth of her daughters.

I loved being a part of the Bravo family and do look forward to any new endeavors this may bring,… I already have several opportunities to host upcoming TV shows that will empower woman, as well as my husband and I are about to launch our own wine… Who knows, perhaps if many of you want to continue to follow me and my family’s lives, then a new show can be created! One of ‘real’ family fun, natural life drama, holistic living, life lessons and experiences.

A new show?  Oh I see.  You’re not an ensemble type gal – you’re looking for your next stint on TV to be “The Peggy Show”.  I got you.

PHOTOS: DWTS Hope Solo Nude For ESPN’s Body Issue

Dancing With The Stars contestant Hope Solo posed completely nude as the star of one of the four naked covers of ESPN’s annual Body Issue (more pictures below).

Hope Solo Provocative Cha Cha On Dancing With The Stars (VIDEO)

The 30 year-old soccer player, who danced quite a raunchy and sexy Cha Cha with her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy this week (watch video here), does not believe she can be seen as a sex symbol. The idea of sexy is all very foreign to Hope.

“I still don’t buy the idea that I’m a sex symbol,” Hope said. “Sure, I’ve had marriage proposals, invitations to military balls and prom offers. But my entire purpose is trying to be the best, and if that exudes beauty too … it means the image of the typical female body type is finally evolving.”

“Growing up, I felt insecure about my build,” adds the 5’9″, 150-lb. athlete. “Guys would say, ‘Look at those muscles! You can kick my ass!’ I didn’t feel feminine. But that’s changed in the last four years.”

And Dancing With The Stars is the perfect opportunity for Hope to prove she can be softer, more feminine and even sexy. Did Hope convince you yet? If Maksim cannot teach her to be sexier, I don’t know who can.

Vanity Fair: Johnny Depp Compares Photo Shoots to Rape

Actor Johnny Depp, whose upcoming movie “The Rum Diary” comes out later this month, stirred controversy when he compared being photographed for a photo shoot to being raped in an interview for the November 2011 issue of Vanity Fair Magazine.

“You just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped. The whole thing. It feels like a kind of weird—just weird, man…. Whenever you have a photo shoot or something like that, it’s like—you just feel dumb. It’s just so stupid,” the 48 year-old actor photographed by Terry Richardson said of photo shoot sessions.

Why? Oh why? Why did Johnny have to go there? As a BIG Depp fan, I can understand if he feels his soul is violated during a photo session, but why did he have to use the word “rape”. It’s not about what you say, it’s how you say it.

Last year, Twilight’s Kristen Stewart was highly criticized for comparing violation of privacy by the paparazzi to rape, but she kind of had a point. I just do not understand how a photo shoot can be that harmful. Seriously, Johnny? Then, say “NO”.

The Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN) issued a statement on Johnny’s inappropriate comments:

“While photos may feel at times intrusive, being photographed in no way compares to rape — a violent crime which affects another American every two minutes. RAINN welcomes the opportunity to speak with Mr. Depp and educate him about the real life experiences faced by survivors every day, and ways that he can work with RAINN to help.”

Johnny quickly issued a formal apology, admitting it was a real poor choice of words. “I am truly sorry for offending anyone in any way. I never meant to. It was a poor choice of words on my part in an effort to explain a feeling,” Depp said. “I understand there is no comparison and I am very regretful. In an effort to correct my lack of judgment, please accept my heartfelt apology.”

Apology accepted. Meanwhile, Johnny also revealed the true reason why he is still working his butt off instead of enjoying a more peaceful life with his family in the island he bought in the Bahamas.

“Basically, if they’re going to pay me the stupid money right now, I’m going to take it,” he says in Vanity Fair’s November issue. “I have to. I mean, it’s not for me. Do you know what I mean? At this point, it’s for my kids. It’s ridiculous, yeah, yeah. But ultimately is it for me? No. No. It’s for the kids.”

The Rum Diary” hits theaters on October 28, 2011.

Siameze Floyd “Run” On X Factor Boot Camp (VIDEO)

Siameze Floyd, Makenna and Brock, Emily Michalak, The Stereo Hoggz and Jeremiah Pagan joined forces to perform “Run” by Snow Patrol at the “The X-Factor” boot camp day 2 auditions on Wednesday (October 5)- watch video below.

Why the heck is Siameze still in the competition? Better question: how the heck did Siameze pass the first audition (watch video here)? Emily hit some high notes and managed to make me cringe at the same time. Plus, I’m really not feeling The Stereo Hoggz (first audition video).

The X-Factor boot camp week started with 162 acts, 62 were sent home on day 1, and only 32 acts to be divided into four categories (boys, girls, over 30, and groups) will make it through the end of the week.

Rachel Crow “I Have Nothing” On X Factor Boot Camp (VIDEO)

De’Quan Allen, Joshua Maddox, Rachel Crow, Hayley Orrantia, 4Shore and Ellona Santiago are forced to perform “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston at the “The X-Factor” boot camp day 2 auditions on Wednesday (October 5)- watch video below.

This was a total disaster. Where do I start? The song was not the best choice for this stage of the competition. Most of the contestants were totally out of their element. 4Shore did not impress (see first audition video here), but lil Rachel is just super talented and adorable (first audition video here).

The X-Factor boot camp week started with 162 acts, 62 were sent home on day 1, and only 32 acts to be divided into four categories (boys, girls, over 30, and groups) will make it through the end of the week.

Tiah Tolliver “Feeling Good” On X Factor Boot Camp (VIDEO)

The next group – Phillip Lomax, Austin Simmons, Nick Voss, Chesi Spriggs, Tiah Tolliver and Kelly Warner – delivered a rendition of “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone/Michael Buble at the “The X-Factor” boot camp day 2 auditions on Wednesday (October 5)- watch video below.

Phillip has a nice voice, but I do not see an improvement from his first audition (watch video here). Simon Cowell and the judges seemed extra pleased they ended up keeping Tiah, who had to fight to get through the first audition (watch video here), after this performance. Kelly has an incredible sultry voice and sexy presence.

The X-Factor boot camp week started with 162 acts, 62 were sent home on day 1, and only 32 acts to be divided into four categories (boys, girls, over 30, and groups) will make it through the end of the week.

Josh Krajcik “Superman” On X Factor Boot Camp (VIDEO)

Josh Krajcik is joined by Nick Dean, James Kenney and Tiger Budbill to perform “Superman (It’s Not Easy)” by Five For Fighting at the “The X-Factor” boot camp day 2 auditions on Wednesday (October 5)- watch video below.

Nick, the teen idol wannabe, embarrassed himself with the most awful and embarrassing performance of the day. James did not do much better. Tiger wants to prove he deserves to be in this competition, and Josh, who absolutely surprised us at his first audition (watch video here), just blew them all out of the water.

The X-Factor boot camp week started with 162 acts, 62 were sent home on day 1, and only 32 acts to be divided into four categories (boys, girls, over 30, and groups) will make it through the end of the week.

Brian Bradley “Wishing On A Star” On X Factor Boot Camp (VIDEO)

Tinuke Oyefule, Brian Bradley, Tatiana “Reina” Williams, Lauren Ashley and Jennifay Joy Nichols joined forces to perform “Wishing On a Star” by Jay-Z at the “The X-Factor” boot camp day 2 auditions on Wednesday (October 5)- watch video below.

Brian is a star! When the 14 year-old rapper takes over the stage, he owns it (see first audition video here). The other contestants were just Brian’s backup singers. The kid’s got swagger. I was also impressed with Jennifay’s voice and attitude. Pretty fun, young and fresh performance by this group.

The X-Factor boot camp week started with 162 acts, 62 were sent home on day 1, and only 32 acts to be divided into four categories (boys, girls, over 30, and groups) will make it through the end of the week.

Leroy Bell “Desperado” On X Factor Boot Camp (VIDEO)

Leroy Bell led the group, which also included Paige Ogle, Dani Knights, Cari Fletcher and Skyelor Anderson, set to perform “Desperado” by The Eagles at the “The X-Factor” boot camp day 2 auditions on Wednesday (October 5)- watch video below.

Leroy is just special (first audition video here). When he starts to sing, you just have to listen. Leroy has the “X” factor! Dani is like cute eye-candy, but not that special. Cari continues to be a bit boring on stage (see first audition video here).

Skyelor still did not manage convince me he can be a successful country singer (watch first audition video here), and Paige has an interesting voice, but is just forgettable at this point (see first audition video here).

The X-Factor boot camp week started with 162 acts, 62 were sent home on day 1, and only 32 acts to be divided into four categories (boys, girls, over 30, and groups) will make it through the end of the week.

Jazzlyn Little, Stacy Francis & Melanie Amaro On X Factor Boot Camp (VIDEO)

The next group of contestants, which included Jazzlyn Little, Stacy Francis and Melanie Amaro, offered a rendition of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2 at the “The X-Factor” boot camp day 2 auditions on Wednesday (October 5)- watch video below.

Uh Oh! 16 year-old Jazzlyn was so nervous she forgot the lyrics, yet she tried to keep up with the music. Simon Cowell noticed the slip. Jazzlyn (first audition video here), who was devastated and apologized to the rest of the group, is too talented to be sent home at this point in the competition, and she will not make the same mistake again.

On the other hand, both Stacy, a single mother coming out of an abusive relationship (first audition video here), and Melanie, who gave us chills with a rendition of “Listen” during her first audition (watch video here), delivered solid performances.

The X-Factor boot camp week started with 162 acts, 62 were sent home on day 1, and only 32 acts to be divided into four categories (boys, girls, over 30, and groups) will make it through the end of the week.

Drew Ryniewicz & Elaine Gibbs “Creep” On X Factor Boot Camp (VIDEO)

The first group, which included names like Drew Ryniewicz, Dexter Haygood, The Anser, Audrey Turner, Elaine Gibbs and Caitlin Koch, took over the stage to perform a rendition of “Creep” by Radiohead at the “The X-Factor” boot camp day 2 auditions on Wednesday (October 5)- watch video below.

In my humble opinion, Drew, the 14 year-old Belieber who impressed the judges with her own version of “Baby” during her first audition (watch video here), and grandma Elaine (first audition video here) stood out from the rest of the group. I love them!

Caitlin did not impress me. And The Anser is most probably the best boyband in the competition. Fun fact: Audrey Turner is the widow of Ike Turner. And Dexter is without a doubt the weakest link in this group.

The X-Factor boot camp week started with 162 acts, 62 were sent home on day 1, and only 32 acts to be divided into four categories (boys, girls, over 30, and groups) will make it through the end of the week.

Deena Cortese’s Club Outburst

Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese is apparently out to prove that she doesn’t just run her mouth for MTV cameras – she’ll do it any place, any time.

During a recent paid appearance at the bar, The Alchemy in New Haven, the “Blast in a Glass” flipped out on the club’s owner after he asked her to leave the VIP area of the club once her scheduled appearance time had ended.

The audacity!

According to Deena, her outburst was not her fault and although unsightly, was completely warranted.

After I did over an hour of takingpictures, dancing on stage, and talking on the mic, I was done with my 2 hrs of work … the owner decided to grab me, put me to the side, speak down to me , embarrass me in front of my fans, kicked my best friend out of V.I.P. and made me cry.

Fans?  What fans?  Deena, I could’ve heard a pin drop in that club – I don’t think you need to worry about your fans getting the wrong impression.
