Gene and Shannon have been together for more than 28 years, but he only proposed recently with a 24-carat diamond on the big finale of their A&E reality show “Gene Simmons’ Family Jewels” back in July. Shane reportedly gave Elizabeth a huge sapphire and diamond engagement ring, which she was spotted wearing during the weekend. This will be the second marriage for both Elizabeth and Shane.

Amy Winehouse knew she was in trouble, or at least that is what Tony Bennett says. He worked with Amy shortly before her premature death and says that she was not well. While at the time they did the duet, he says that he had no idea how badly she was doing. But looking back, he does see the signs. Even though he will not say what happened between the duo, he did say this.

She knew that she was in a lot of trouble that she wasn’t going to live. It wasn’t drugs, it was alcohol ‘til the end, She was the only singer that really sang what I call the right way
It is so sad that she wasted her talent, but I do not know why nobody around her helped her more. She was clearly not okay. I do think she needlessly died, much like Michael Jackson did. It is a shame that they did not have people around them who cared more. The official cause of death is supposed to come out this month, but I do believe that her father has a point.

Mitch Hurwitz, the creator of Arrested Development has decided to bring back show for one more season. The show ended 2006, but they have decided film 10 more new episodes to pick up where it left. It will be a prelude to the movie that they have been planning. Here is what he told The New Yorker.

After rumors surfaced late last week that Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga was concealing a past life as a stripper castmamte Jacqueline Laurita announced that she has had enough all the drama and backstabbing that comes with being a RHONJ.

Laurita took to her Twitter to clear the air regarding how she really feels about former friend and castmate Teresa Giudice antics.

Teresa told me that ‘rumor’ about Melissa when she first started the show… She wanted her out then. She plotted it. She played dumb on camera and even defended Melissa.

Teresa put out an article that I text her and threatened to release those pictures and I didn’t! I wanted to prove that. Teresa is scum!

Earlier this week BRAVO announced that Burruss will be starring in her own RHOA spin-off that will follow her as she mentors two up-and-coming recording acts a la, RHOA costar, Kim Zolciak.

With her breakout personality and straightforward attitude, Bravo fans have grown to love Kandi onThe Real Housewives of Atlanta… The Kandi Factorywill capture a unique look at her successful music career as Kandi transforms two music hopefuls into the next big pop star.

While the 4th Season of RHOA is scheduled to premiere on November 6th, no air date has yet been given for The Kandi Factory.

If Kandi’s experience with her new mentees is anything like her Tardy for the Party days with Kim, you know I’ll be tuning in!

Looks like Teen Mom 2 troublemaker, Jenelle Evans is turning over a new leaf… again.

According to Evans’ attorney Dustin Sullivan, The 19-year-old mother to Jace, has apparently voluntarily signed herself up for parenting classes and is making much more time for her two-ear-old son.

She’s taking parenting classes and anger management classes… She sees Jace just about every day. She doesn’t have custody, but she’s going through these classes… I think she’s being responsible right now… There has not been one judged order for her do that — the parenting classes. She [enrolled] all on her own… I’m very proud of her… Jenelle is getting drug tested once a week, four times the usual amount. She has not tested positive in about 2.5 months. She’s doing extremely well and she’s in school.

Sounds like things are looking up!  Now if only her lawyer would stop being such a media whore…

Evans is currently on parole for two different charges of drug paraphernalia possession and simple affray, but as of yet, has not been sentenced to any substantial jail time.  Let’s hope she can keep her nose clean!

After heavy speculation that Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga, moonlighted as a stripper before becoming a reality TV star, the BRAVO-lebrity is finally speaking out to set the record straight.

She is not a stripper.  She just dresses like one.

According to The Huffington Post, who originally broke the story, Gorga was “set up” by BRAVO during a taping for Season 4.  Apparently, Melissa’s “old boss” from her stripper days was supposed to show up at a fashion show the RHONJ cast was attending, and force Melissa to expose her dark and dirty secret past.

I’m sorry, but is this RHONJ or Days of Our Lives… c’mon people.

According to an inside source,

Bravo’s surprise at the fashion show was for Melissa: her ex-boss at Lookers, the strip club she used to work at. No one knew him, no one knew he was coming — although, of course Bravo had a microphone on him — and Melissa ran away from him and refused to film with him… The producers made Teresa talk to him to ‘hear him out,’ so his accusations would be aired on camera, but Teresa stopped him mid-story and told him to not talk about her family and left.

That’s low BRAVO, even for you.

Gorga, who is understandably furious over the set up, took to her blog to let her fans know the truth.

As everyone knows we are filming season 4 so there is not too much I can confirm, but there is one thing that I would like to clarify…the accusation that I was once a dancer at a strip club. This is 100% NOT TRUE. I did bartend for a few weeks at a bikini bar while I was in college. My outfit was a tank top, shorts and sneakers. SORRY, no bubbies there.

Gorga’s former boss, Larry Guarino, backed up Gorga’s story, telling US Weekly that,

[Gorga] was a bartender for a couple of months years ago, it was such a short time … Lookers was really upscale then too; it wasn’t like she was bartending in some hole in the wall.

Nice of you to back up your former employee Lar, but if all this is on the up and up why did you show up, mic’ed at a RHONJ taping?

Oh right, BRAVO made you do it.
