This guy was born to sing. Josh doesn’t even need the music to sing. He is incredible! And the emotional intensity of this performance was totally out of this world. L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul agreed Josh has one of the most beautiful voices they have heard in a long time.

LeRoy’s voice is a mix of silk and hot chocolate and I LOVE IT! And this man looks SO good. LeRoy is 60 years old for Christ’s sake. He is wonderful. I’m smitten. Paula Abdul echoed my feelings exactly. We love LeRoy. L.A. Reid is actually surprised LeRoy isn’t a major star already, but criticized the song choice.

Leroy Bell Sings “Lean On Me” On X Factor (VIDEO)

Simon Cowell proclaimed LeRoy has one of the best voices in the competition and blamed his mentor, Nicole Scherzinger, for not being able to project more confidence, accusing her of spending too much time planning Dexter Haygood’s silly choreography. Yes. Nicole vs. Simon, which is always good for ratings.

So I guess Melanie is supposed to be the Diva, but I was not impressed with the vocals. She just screamed through the high notes. I was expecting more. L.A. Reid claimed they saved the best for last because she was unbelievable and nailed it. Uh? No.

Okay. It was an emotional performance. However, it wasn’t as fantastic as everybody was saying it was. Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul were grateful Simon Cowell brought Melanie back. Simon has a tough decision to make since he can only keep 3 of his 5 girls.

I was a bit bored by this performance, but LeRoy Bell is a tough act to follow. L.A. Reid was proud Stacy for not crying for once. Paula Abdul thought Stacy really looked like a star, while Simon Cowell took another stab at Nicole Scherzinger’s mentoring skills by saying the outfit and song choices were just wrong. Nicole disagreed, claiming it all gave Stacy wings. Whatever that means…

Drew is only 14 years old? Seriously? She has an incredible and mature voice. She is super sweet and beautiful. L.A. Reid claimed Drew is the whole package. Nicole Scherzinger called her ethereal and a folk princess.

Rachel will most probably not win, but she is so fierce and cute. And this is another girl born to be a star. L.A. Reid loved Rachel, claiming she can have a career much bigger than music. Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul agreed that song choice was not the best to show little Rachel’s qualities.

Simon Cowell was surprised by the critics, telling Nicole it’s like the pot calling the kettle black. LoL. He does have a point. Simon explains he wanted to show the audience Rachel is a retro and pop artist.

They sound great together, but they sound so dated, which was probably a result of a bad song choice. L.A. Reid confessed that if the girls walked into his office with that performance he would give them a worldwide recording contract. Wow. Really?

Nicole Scherzinger said Lakoda Rayne make girl groups look good because they are talented, beautiful and classy. Simon Cowell complimented Paula Abdul on a job well done again, and she could not contain the tears of joy as the proud mentor of the group.

InTENsity “Footloose” On X Factor (VIDEO)

InTENsity (Team Paula Abdul) delivered a very cheerful performance of a mixture of “The Clapping Song” with “Footloose” at the “The X-Factor” first live show on Tuesday (October 25)- watch video below.

These kids were all put together after being thrown out of the competition. So considering the amount of time they had to get to know their bandmates and put this number together, I’d say they did a very good job. However, the whole performance sounded very Glee-ish to me. And perhaps that is exactly what the judges were looking for.

Nicole Scherzinger was clearly more impressed with their cute factor. Simon Cowell called the band a “music miracle” baby, seeing the new Glee club right in front of him. L.A. Reid seemed a bit more skeptical, saying they were just really entertaining.

The Stereo Hoggz “Try a Little Tenderness” On X Factor (VIDEO)

The Stereo Hoggz (Team Paula Abdul) tried to impress with a typical boyband rendition of “Try a Little Tenderness” by Otis Redding at the “The X-Factor” first live show on Tuesday (October 25)- watch video below.

The X-Factor Top 17: Contestants/Acts, Teams & Mentors (Bios, PHOTOS)

Wow. The boyband act brought me back to the 90’s and I actually thought they were the Backstreet Boys before they gave it a more modern R&B sound mixed with some rap. I would call The Stereo Hoggz a guilty pleasure, but not a successful recording boyband.

Nicole Scherzinger described their performance as the perfect combination of modern and classic. L.A. Reid had to agree The Stereo Hoggz were good, while Simon Cowell struggled a bit to admit Paula Abdul, who was very proud of her boys for their hard work, did a good job.
