GWAR’s Cory Smoot Found Dead On Tour Bus

GWAR’s lead guitarist Cory Smoot best known by his stage name, Flattus Maximus, was found dead one of the tour buses during the heavy metal band’s trip from Minneapolis to Edmonton, Canada for an upcoming concert on Thursday (November 3).

GWAR’s lead singer, Dave Brockie also known as “Oderus Urungus” described Cory as one of the most talented guitar players in metal. He also stated: “There is no word as to the cause of death and the members of GWAR are completely shocked and devastated that this has occurred.”

R.I.P. Cory Smoot.
