Michael Jackson’s parents, Katherine Jackson and Joe Jackson, were satisfied with the conviction of Conrad Murray for involuntary manslaughter in Los Angeles, California on Monday (November 7).

Dr. Conrad Murray Says Michael Jackson Killed Himself

Dr. Murray was immediately handcuffed and taken to jail, where he will be held without a bail until his sentencing on November 29th, 2011. The King Of Pop’s family believes justice has been served and now they can finally find some closure after this “guilty” verdict.

In a statement, Katherine and Joe Jackson say, “We have been waiting for this moment for a very long time and we couldn’t hold back tears of joy in the courtroom. Even though nothing can bring back our son, justice has finally been served! We can’t wait to go home and share this day with Michael’s children.”

Michael Jackson died of acute propofol intoxication more than two years ago on June 25, 2009. Grandma Katherine is currently responsible for the care of his three young children – Prince Jackson, Paris Jackson and Blanket Jackson.
