Prepare to be blown away by Katy Perry! The 27 year-old released a teaser trailer for the music video of her upcoming single “The One That Got Away”, out of her “Teenage Dream” album (watch video below).

“The One That Got Away” tells the impossible love story of Katy and the one man that decided to walk away. Katy never got over him and now she sings about him, “the one”. It’s pretty tragic!

The narrator says, “The past is like a handful of dust. It filters through your fingers, disappearing little by little. I wish for one day I could go back. In another life, I would do things differently.”

At the end of the trailer, you can see what appears to be the silhouette of a pretty old Katy Perry, who still didn’t get over “the one that got away”. Can you say “The Notebook” rip off? Will this tragic love story have a happy ending?

“The One That Got Away” premieres on November 11, 2011 (11.11.11). It’s a symbolic premiere date for an impossible love story. I cannot wait to see this video!
