Melanie Amaro (Team Simon Cowell) delivered a fierce performance of “Man In The Mirror” by Michael Jackson (from “This Is It”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

I’m usually bored out of my mind whenever Melanie performs, but that was incredible. I think it was her best performance yet. L.A. Reid was really trying to pick on Simon Cowell’s girls. Again, L.A. thought Melanie’s performance was too predictable and not inventive. That is exactly the same thing he said about Drew Ryniewicz (watch video here).

Nicole Scherzinger loved the song choice and said Melanie’s voice was the vessel of the light and love that the song was created for. Paula Abdul said Melanie’s voice is great and she can sing the phone book. Simon Cowell proclaimed that was the best performance of the competition so far. “Melanie, you were bloody fantastic!”
