Chris Rene “No Woman, No Cry” The X Factor Top 10 (VIDEO)
Chris Rene (Team L.A. Reid) delivered a lukewarm performance of “No Woman, No Cry” by Bob Marley during a night dedicated to rock/rock style at the “The X-Factor” Top 10 live show on Wednesday (November 16)- watch video below.

A rapper singing a reggae song during rock week – what’s wrong with this picture? Oh yeah, Paula Abdul explained Bob Marley was inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Rolling Stone referred to the song as one of the best rock songs of all time. I still fail to see how this fits into the rock week theme.
Paula loves Chris because he is an honest performer. Blah. Nicole Scherzinger was confused (as always!?) with the “hybrid” performance, saying that was not his best. Simon Cowell said that’s a reggae song and he doesn’t even care if L.A. Reid wants to call Bob Marley a rock star. L.A. was proud of Chris for being able to stay on key. Not good enough, I say.
