Lakoda Rayne (Team Paula Abdul) attempted to go rock with a country flavor with a performance of “Go Your Own Way” by Fleetwood Mac during a night dedicated to rock/rock style at the “The X-Factor” Top 10 live show on Wednesday (November 16)- watch video below.

I was dumbstruck. What were they thinking? Those outfits are absolutely ridiculous. The performance was ridiculous, but they did have fun on that stage and that must count for something. L.A. Reid was glad they had fun, but the performance was not amazing. Nicole Scherzinger’s verbatim: “Yea, country rock!”

Simon Cowell thought the performance was a mess, their outfits were a mess and the choreography was just ridiculously gimmick. On the other hand, he said he wants America to keep the girls in the competition because he is waiting for that one great performance to happen. Paula Abdul basically said Lakoda Rayne will be the new Dixie Chicks. Blah.
