LeRoy dedicated the song to his late mother, who passed away a couple of years ago. I thought it was beautiful. LeRoy connected with the audience, and this was most probably his best performance yet.

L.A. Reid still thought LeRoy didn’t give his very best. Paula Abdul disagreed and cried out some more. Simon Cowell incredibly loved LeRoy’s performance, saying he meant every word he was singing and congratulating the singer. Nicole Scherzinger faked some tears, while throwing up some verbatim.
