“American Horror Story” actress Connie Britton, best known for her role as Tami Taylor in “Friday Night Lights”, officially became a mother to an adopted 9 month-old baby boy named Eyob from Ethiopia just a week ago.

The 44 year-old went through a three-year-long adoption process before she was able to travel to Africa to bring her baby home. Connie revealed the first moment she held the child in her arms was magical.

“It was such a wonderful moment of completion,” Connie says. “I thought I was going to collapse into a puddle of tears. I was just grinning from ear to ear.”

Baby Eyob was affectionately nicknamed Yoby by his new mommy who says “I am thanking my lucky stars every day.” Aw. Congratulations to Connie and baby Yoby!

Twilight star Nikki Reed and her husband, American Idol season 10 contestant Paul McDonald, have recorded a due of the song “Now That I’ve Found You”, which they debuted on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show (listen to audio below).

The 23 year-old actress actually wrote the super romantic song, talking about how so very much in love they are and how they love to see each other’s smile as they wake up in the morning. It’s pretty sickly romantic and sweet.

As for their plans to continue recording together, Nikki said, “He really wants me to. He’s really supportive and encourages everything, so he wants to be a super team. I’m a little more shy. We’ve done some open mic’s together. I probably will end up doing it.”

And how did the newlyweds come up with this incredible idea to make sweet music together: “Paul basically lives with a guitar strapped around his body, and he just walks around the house plays stuff; I’ve experimented with writing lyrics for other people in the past. He recorded the music, and on the way back from Europe, a week and a half ago, I just sat and wrote lyrics to his music. Then we went in this Saturday, and recorded it with Andre Harris.”

PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is targeting superstar Kim Kardashian for wearing real fur by putting up a billboard in Los Angeles, which is set to debut next month.

The ad shows Kardashian wearing a fox pelt on one side and some cute fur babies on the opposite side with the caption, “Kim: These babies miss their mother. Is she on your back?”

Her sister Khloe Kardashian posed nude for PETA in an anti-fur ad, and is using this as ammunition against the reality star. ”Kim knows that animals on fur farms are beaten, electrocuted, and often skinned alive,” said PETA spokeswoman  Lisa Lange. “When Kim is ready to put an end to her relationship with fur, PETA will be happy to take her discards and donate them to the homeless.”

Kim has yet to comment on the billboard.

Demi Moore announced yesterday that she was splitting from her husband of six years, Ashton Kutcher. After Moore, 49, released a statement on her divorce, Kutcher, 33, responded via Twitter.

Actress Natalie Wood mysteriously died in a drowning accident 30 years ago, but the investigation into her death is being reopened after the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received ”substantial information” prompting them to take another look into one of Hollywood’s great mysteries.

“Recently we received information which we felt was substantial enough to take another look at the case,” Lt. John Corina told more than 100 reporters outside the sheriff’s office during a press conference Friday. “The case has been assigned to two homicide investigators who will be following up on the information and any other new information.”

Wood died on Nov. 29, 1981 while boating off Catalina Island with her husband Robert Wagner, actor Christopher Walken and captain Dennis Davern. Her death was ruled an accidental drowning after she was found floating a mile from the boat.

In an interview with the Today show Friday morning, Davern admitted he had come forward to police with new information. “I made mistakes by not telling the honest truth in the (initial) police report,” Davern said.

When asked directly if Wagner himself was a suspect during the press conference, the lead detective answered with, “No.”

Wagner, at the time, was the center of tabloid speculation that foul play was involved in the actresses’ death. But Coroner’s officials assured the public that the death was an accident and that Wood was ”possibly attempting to board the dinghy and had fallen into the water, striking her face.”

I have a feeling we’ll be hearing PLENTY of news surrounding this case. Stay tuned.

“Any experience of a girl picking out her wedding dress is amazing,” Lauren told the magazine. “But I have to say it was really special to work with [husband David Lauren's] dad, to see him in action with his team.”

The bride-to-be casually shared ideas for her wedding gown with her soon-to-be father-in-law before their first official meeting in his studio in June. “I walked in, and there were these beautiful illustrations of the looks we’d discussed with my face on them,” she recalls. “It was like a dream come true.”

The result, Lauren says, “isn’t Victorian exactly. I wanted something modern as well, so there is the high-necked collar and puffed shoulders with the large open back.”

As PEOPLE details, “The top layer of the dress was made of tulle in antique ivory; nearly 100 craftspeople spent more than 3,000 hours hand-embroidering the tulle with motifs of flowers and Renaissance-era scroll designs in ivory silk and metallic thread, Swarovski Elements crystals and off-white pearl beads.”

The wedding took place at a 200-year-old barn on Ralph’s Double RL Ranch in Colorado, so Lauren decided to pair her gown with cowboy boots, while her bridesmaids were dressed white linen blouses, vests, vintage prairie skirts and cowboy boots, too. “They looked like Little House on the Prairie,” she said.

What a dress! I would love to see a picture of Lauren along with the bridesmaids. Can you imagine?!?

After 28 years on the daytime talk show Live! With Regis and Kelly, Regis Philbin signed off the show for the last time on Friday morning.

Philbin started off the show walking on set hand-in-hand with his co-host Kelly Ripa. ”I feel OK, I feel pretty good,” he told the audience. “I feel the weight of the whole thing…’Where is Regis going?’ I don’t know – stop asking me!” he said, referring to his next career move.

Anne Hathway, Selena Gomez and Shia LaBeouf shared their favorite memories of Philbin, along with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who gave him a key to the city. Donald Trump and Philbin’s former co-host Kathie Lee Gifford along with other stars all watched the show from the VIP audience.

Ripa had the chance to share her experiences with Philbin for the last 11 years in an emotional farewell. ”For 28 years, millions of viewers have had the great fortune of starting their day with you. For 11 years, I have had the great fortune of starting my day sitting next to you,” she said. “You took this soap actress and plopped her behind a desk and made her your partner in crime. My life is forever changed.”

“As you go forward, I’m thinking of the people at home who are suffering from cancer… the mother who’s been up nursing all night, who watch you and your story makes them feel better,” Ripa continued. “I look forward to your next steps and hope they fill you with the joy you’ve filled all of us with all these years.”

God bless you all and I hope I see you again real soon.”

Two of the potential candidates, LeRoy Bell and Lakoda Rayne, to leave the competition were quickly sent back to safety. Even LeRoy couldn’t believe it, but, hopefully, he will take this as another opportunity to finally own the stage next week. There was no doubt Stacy was in big trouble, but we never expected Astro to land in the bottom 2.

Stacy and Astro had one last chance to impress the judges/mentors. Stacy delivers the most embarrassing performance of “Amazing Grace”. When it’s Astro’s turn, he comes on stage with an awful attitude, asking if it’s really necessary for him to perform. Mentor L.A. Reid was taken aback by Astro’s question, but he end up unenthusiastically rapping his way through “Never Can Say Goodbye” (watch videos below).

The judges had to make their decision on who to send home. L.A. is not letting his pupil off the hook without telling Astro his attitude was not acceptable because he acted like a quitter. L.A. ended up saving Stacy home and stuck with his boy. Nicole Scherzinger also decided to save her pupil and send Astro home.

Paula Abdul gave the two contestants a speech about attitude and being grateful for what they have already achieved. She sends Stacy home. Simon Cowell had the big decision in his hands – send Stacy home or put Astro and Stacy in the voters’ hands. Simon is really not happy with Astro’s attitude, asking him if he will do the same in that bottom two position in the future.

For once, Simon really seemed to be debating whether it was worth or not to keep such a raw and uncontrollable talent in the competition. In the end, Simon chose to keep who he believes has a shot at winning and sent Stacy home. Astro was in tears. He is just a kid. They are asking a kid who is full of himself to act like a grownup and that’s just not possible.

The 23 year-old is known for being an incredible performer, but “We Found Love” was simply disastrous. Rihanna was barely singing on top of a back track with the most awful stereo ever. Plus, what the hell was she wearing? If this is Ri Ri’s new look for this album, I’m certainly not digging it.

When asked by host Steve Jones to give advice to the contestants, Rihanna told them to love what they do because if they don’t, it’s a waste of time. “If you love it, it never feels like work,” she added.

After months of speculation, Demi Moore has announced she is officially separating from her husband of six years, Ashton Kutcher.

“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton,” Moore said in a statement. “As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”
