I was dumbstruck. What were they thinking? Those outfits are absolutely ridiculous. The performance was ridiculous, but they did have fun on that stage and that must count for something. L.A. Reid was glad they had fun, but the performance was not amazing. Nicole Scherzinger’s verbatim: “Yea, country rock!”

Simon Cowell thought the performance was a mess, their outfits were a mess and the choreography was just ridiculously gimmick. On the other hand, he said he wants America to keep the girls in the competition because he is waiting for that one great performance to happen. This is supposed to be rock week. Okay. A rapper can never be a rocker. But Astro is a rocking good rapper. Nicole Scherzinger’s verbatim: “You are ready to win this.” Paula Abdul simply said Astro is amazing, asking “Astro, can you just suck for once?” Not possible. Astro is a star!

Simon Cowell is amazed by Astro’s maturity since he knows exactly who he wants to be and sticks with it. Simon declared Astro has a shot at winning this. L.A. Reid said Astro knocked it out of the park and claimed the little rapper can become a major international star. Wow.

Melanie’s vocals might have been flawless, but that performance was not even close to resembling rock. L.A. Reid loved Melanie, but said that was so not rock. Nicole Scherzinger wanted to cry because she always cries when she hears that song, but that didn’t happen this time. Boo hoo!

Paula Abdul claimed Melanie took them to a rock church. Simon Cowell was very proud of Melanie, saying she reminded him of Adele and Alicia Keys. L.A. retorted: “Adele and Alicia are rock now?” Simon told him to call R.E.M. and tell them they are not a rock band. That was not the point!

Stacy basically just butchered one of the best songs ever. She was trying too hard to become Celine Dion, but she doesn’t have the stage presence and the voice required for such an ambitious performance. L.A. Reid was very succinct, saying he doesn’t want to be mean and she sang the song well. L.A. is definitely not a fan of Stacy’s.

Paula Abdul said that was her least favorite performance from Stacy. Stacy chose the song and Simon Cowell absolutely hated it. Stacy’s “shocked” face is priceless. Simon told the singer that she sounded like someone singing at the Hilton Hotel bar while people are eating peanuts and “The X-Factor” is not a cabaret competition.

This is so much fun. Steve Jones shut up and let Simon do the talking. This is hilarious. The wind machine has to go. Nicole Scherzinger defended her pupil, saying that was a glam rock performance and Stacy was a glam rock diva. IN HER DREAMS!

A rapper singing a reggae song during rock week – what’s wrong with this picture? Oh yeah, Paula Abdul explained Bob Marley was inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Rolling Stone referred to the song as one of the best rock songs of all time. I still fail to see how this fits into the rock week theme.

Paula loves Chris because he is an honest performer. Blah. Nicole Scherzinger was confused (as always!?) with the “hybrid” performance, saying that was not his best. Simon Cowell said that’s a reggae song and he doesn’t even care if L.A. Reid wants to call Bob Marley a rock star. L.A. was proud of Chris for being able to stay on key. Not good enough, I say.

Rachel is such a star. Even though that was not her best performance, Rachel still owned that stage. L.A. Reid believes she can sell records and tickets. Nicole Scherzinger throws up some verbatim: “Love you, Rachel!” pretty much sums it up.

Paula Abdul confessed Rachel is one of her favorites. Simon Cowell couldn’t have been more proud of his pupil, saying he can see Rachel winning the competition and starring in Pepsi’s Super Bowl commercial. I believed they failed to realize just on how many levels that song was such an inappropriate choice for the young singer.

LeRoy’s voice is incredible. I cannot not enjoy Leroy’s every performance, but it’s time for him to come out full force and kill it on stage. L.A. Reid mentioned he needs more than just a good voice and good look at this stage of the competition. Paula Abdul wanted LeRoy to create a better connection with the audience in the studio and at home.

Simon Cowell told it like it is, calling Nicole Scherzinger out on her horrible mentoring skills. Instead of being a shark, LeRoy was more like a goldfish and for Simon that is not even close to being good enough to have a shot at winning. Nicole claimed this was LeRoy’s best performance, while Simon and L.A. were just flabbergasted with the crazy words coming out of her mouth.

The most useless talent show host ever, Steve Jones, asked LeRoy what he thought of those “horrible” comments, when Simon retorted they were not horrible – it’s called constructive criticism!

On Black Eyed Peas hiatus: “A final concert before we go on our big hiatus. That everyone assumes that we’re on right now. We’re not. [I won’t miss] sleeping in different hotel rooms all the time. I want to be home, because I moved into my house but I haven’t really been able to decorate it fully— just going to museums, going to art galleries, picking out art, things like that that I haven’t been able to do lately. I’ll be excited to be in my own bed at night.”

On being a Miami Dolphins fan: “When you fall in love with a team and you have those highs and lows, it becomes part of your heart as a sports fan. It’s just like that Hootie & the Blowfish song. ‘I’m such a baby ’cause the Dolphins make me cry.’ I can completely relate to that. There are games where I have shed tears. And so when you grow up like that with a team, it’s just that loyalty [that endures].”

Justin Bieber’s alleged baby mama, Mariah Yeater, decided to discretely dismiss the paternity lawsuit, in which she demanded the “Baby” singer to take a paternity test to prove he was the father of her three month-old baby boy, Tristyn.

Mariah’s lawyers, Lance Rogers and Matt Pare, also decided to quickly abandon the sinking ship when Justin agreed to take a DNA test as soon as he returned to the USA since he is currently promoting his holiday album “Under The Mistletoe” all over Europe.

Despite the dismissal of the lawsuit, Justin’s team is still determined to sue Mariah and her legal team for making bogus claims in an attempt to set some sort of example for future fame-seekers and gold-diggers to think twice before making false accusations.

The singer’s publicist, Matthew Hiltzik, told TMZ, “We intend to still hold them accountable.”

Justin should not backtrack on this. Mariah and her lawyers need to be held responsible for trying to denigrate the young teen idol’s image and his reputation. Go Justin!

The “Hangover” star, Bradley Cooper, was named this year’s Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine. The 36 year-old actor, who’s fluent in French (add to reasons why he’s the sexiest), is honored with the distinction, but he was particularly happy because that will make his mama proud.

“’My mother is going to be so happy. I think it’s really cool that a guy who doesn’t look like a model can have this [title],” says Bradley. “I think I’m a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying.”

Wait a second. Bradley doesn’t look like a model? He could have fooled me. Okay. Perhaps a retired model. Anyhow, Bradley confirms he is single and ready to mingle yet he is not a player.

“If you’re a single man and you happen to be in this business,” he says, “you’re deemed a player. But I don’t see myself as a ladies’ man.”

Who Was Eliminated on Dancing With The Stars? Tonight is the night! One celebrity dancer and their professional dance partner will be forced to leave the competition on Tuesday (November 15) only one week before the big finale. After a brutal night with two individual performances and one Cha Cha relay on Monday, the Dancing With The Stars FINAL 3 celebrity dancers will be revealed.

Last night’s performances might have confused the audience at home since the favorite, J.R. Martinez impressed yet failed to get good scores from the judges, while competitors Rob Kardashian and Ricki Lake were at their very best. As for Hope Solo, she continued to improve and look more comfortable on the dance floor, but she is still miles away from the two favorites (Ricki and J.R.).

Who will be in the bottom two? Hope and Rob will most probably receive the lowest number of vote and be in jeopardy tonight. Kim Kardashian’s brother delivered two of his best performances of the season, but that will most likely not be enough to be beat the big dogs. Besides, Rob kind of likes playing the role of the underdog.

And who will get the boot? There is no doubt in my mind Hope Solo deserves to go home. Even though she came very far in this competition, it’s time to send her packing home. If Hope leaves, she can take her obnoxious partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy home with her and they can start attending couple’s counseling.
