Rachel Crow “I’d Rather Go Blind” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

Rachel Crow (Team Simon Cowell) finally showed off her powerful voice with a rendition of “I’d Rather Go Blind” by Beyonce (from “Cadillac Records”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

Rachel picked her own song because Simon Cowell is all about giving artists some space to be creative and make their own song choices while he sits on his couch sipping some wine (… or whatever he does when he is just chilling out!). The song was originally recorded by Etta James in 1978, and re-recorded by Beyonce Knowles for her movie.

L.A. Reid was not sure Rachel was a true contender, but he surrendered to her greatness. Nicole Scherzinger was glad Simon took her advice, before Rachel told her she was the one who picked the song. Oh snap! Paula Abdul just loves her for teaching Simon some humility. Simon claimed Rachel is like a mini-Beyonce.

Chris Rene “Gangsta’s Paradise” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

Chris Rene (Team L.A. Reid) performed Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” (from “Dangerous Minds”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

Chris made a comeback! And he wrote his own rhymes too. Astro is not the only rapper with extra swag. So the question is: how long will both rappers, Chris and Astro, stay in the competition? One must be doomed. If this competition can only have one rapper, who will be the last man standing? I love Chris, but I believe Astro has the little eXtra factor.

Nicole Scherzinger’s unintelligible verbatim. Paula Abdul said Chris was real, honest, truthful and amazing. Simon Cowell told Chris this is what he needs to do to become a potential star. L.A. Reid was really proud of his boy. He should be because Chris rocked it.

Josh Krajcik “With A Little Help From My Friends” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

Josh Krajcik (Team Nicole Scherzinger) “A Little Help From My Friends” by the Beatles (from “Across The Universe”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

Holy wind machine. The singer’s glare. Wow. This is the same Josh Krajcik who came to his first audition looking like a ludicrous hobo (watch video here)!?! Love it! Josh’s voice is incredible. His facial expressions can get a little bizarre, but that performance was fabulous.

L.A. Reid confesses Josh is one of his favorite voices. Paula Abdul said Josh’s voice is like chicken soup for the soul. Amen, sista! Simon Cowell loved the song choice, but hated the whole set, saying it looked like Dracula and the brides up there. LoL. Nicole Scherzinger retorted: “Don’t hate, just congratulate!”

The Stereo Hoggz “Ain’t No Other Man” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

The Stereo Hoggz (Team Paula Abdul) delivered an unexpectedly disappointing performance of Christina Aguilera’s “Ain’t No Other Man” (from “Get Smart”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

The X Factor Top 12: Boys, Groups, Over 30′s & Girls (Bios, PHOTOS)

Meh. I don’t even know what to say about this performance. The Stereo Hoggz sounded dated. They are great candidates for the bottom two tonight. L.A. Reid is really not familiar with the song. It’s a popular Christina Aguilera song. Duh. “From which decade?,” he asked. TOUCHÉ.

Nicole Scherzinger’s verbatim: “Bananas. Smooth. Sharp.” Simon Cowell appreciated their work ethic, but advised them to become less cabaret and more recording artists. Paula Abdul defended her pupils and asked people to vote for them.

Melanie Amaro “Man In The Mirror” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

Melanie Amaro (Team Simon Cowell) delivered a fierce performance of “Man In The Mirror” by Michael Jackson (from “This Is It”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

I’m usually bored out of my mind whenever Melanie performs, but that was incredible. I think it was her best performance yet. L.A. Reid was really trying to pick on Simon Cowell’s girls. Again, L.A. thought Melanie’s performance was too predictable and not inventive. That is exactly the same thing he said about Drew Ryniewicz (watch video here).

Nicole Scherzinger loved the song choice and said Melanie’s voice was the vessel of the light and love that the song was created for. Paula Abdul said Melanie’s voice is great and she can sing the phone book. Simon Cowell proclaimed that was the best performance of the competition so far. “Melanie, you were bloody fantastic!”

Astro “Lose Yourself” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

Our little rapper Brian Bradley aka Astro (Team L.A. Reid) rocked the stage with a rendition of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” (from “8 Mile”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

The X Factor Top 12: Boys, Groups, Over 30′s & Girls (Bios, PHOTOS)

This kid is DA BOMB! Astro re-wrote Eminem’s lyrics. What? He actually wrote his own rhymes again? “If you put it on stage, I’mma own it,” he raps. If that’s not the “X” factor, I truly don’t know what is. And he also included a shout out to Joe Frazier and Heady D, who both passed away this week. WOW.

Nicole Scherzinger’s verbatim: “You are a champion!” Paula Abdul said he has the level of focus that creates superstars. Simon Cowell to L.A. Reid: “You’re like the cat who’s got the cream.” Simon appreciated Astro’s work ethic and creativity, saying he is a role model. L.A. was too proud of his pupil and applauded his audacity to re-write Eminem and do a great job.

Lakoda Rayne “Somebody Like You” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

Lakoda Rayne (Team Paula Abdul) went country with a rendition of “Somebody Like You” by Keith Urban (from “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

That was not bad. I’m just glad they got rid of the wind machine and became a country girlband. They are trying hard to become the next Dixie Chicks, right? L.A. Reid also appreciated Lakoda Rayne took his advice and proclaimed they are is favorite girl group in the competition (albeit they are the only girl group!).

Nicole Scherzinger’s verbatim: Blah. “If I took you home to Kentucky, I’d be very popular!” Blah. Simon Cowell said they went from musical version of Stepford wives last week to the group he always hoped they would become this week. Paula Abdul can already see them in a Pepsi commercial. Not. So. Fast.

Leroy Bell “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

Leroy Bell (Team Nicole Scherzinger) step it up with an incredible performance of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” (from “Runaway Bride”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

Grandpa’s got the most incredible voice ever. It’s so soulful, raspy and delicious. He is rock and soul. Mentor Nicole Scherzinger felt like she was at a LeRoy’s rock concert, but he took them all to church at the same time. And we love it! Paula Abdul had been waiting for LeRoy to kill it like he did last night. AH-MA-ZING!

L.A. Reid was glad LeRoy finally got it right and delivered it because he was truly getting bored. We blame Nicole for the terrible song choices. Simon Cowell, who said he is used to work with older people (*eyeroll*), said the 60 year-old contestant sounded like a 20 year old and declared this was his best performance by a mile.

Drew Ryniewicz “Fix You” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

Drew Ryniewicz delivered another sweet and soulful performance of Coldplay’s “Fix You” (from “You, Me and Dupree”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

The X Factor Top 12: Boys, Groups, Over 30′s & Girls (Bios, PHOTOS)

Drew borrowed Lakoda Rayne’s wind machine from last week. What the heck is she wearing and what is that in her hair? The show needs a better stylist. Oh wait… Drew actually designed her outfit, mentor Simon Cowell revealed. To tell you the truth I’m more horrified with what is all over her hair and the feather earrings are just too much. Either or, not both!

L.A. Reid loved Drew’s performance, but he didn’t know the difference between this performance and her past three performances. He wants some diversity. Nicole Scherzinger loved how Drew takes her time with the words and proclaimed she is a slice of heaven.

Paula Abdul admired the 14 year-old girl for delivering an honest performance, but hated on her outfit. Simon clarified it’s Drew’s design. OUCH. Simon declared the girl is a true artist, and he’s glad he is her mentor because he will let her take risks. Simon called out L.A. for trying to get inside Drew’s head and playing mind games.

Marcus Canty “I’m Going Down” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

Marcus Canty (Team L.A. Reid) showed he can also be a simply good singer instead of a fantastic performer with a rendition of “I’m Going Down” (from “Car Wash”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

The X Factor Top 12: Boys, Groups, Over 30′s & Girls (Bios, PHOTOS)

Marcus totally nailed it. That jacket has to go. And it did. It was truly all about singing – no dancing or other gimmicks. He owned the stage. Nicole Scherzinger’s two words: “Ma-Gic”, adding Marcus is a superstar who tastes, means and enjoys every single word and moment when he is on stage.

Wow. Paula Abdul said Marcus is a star from head to toe and there’s no doubt about it. Simon Cowell approved, but could not stop himself from criticizing that awful sparkly jacket he had on, which gave him a cabaret singer look. L.A. Reid claimed he has a crystal ball and inside is a picture of a massive star – that’s Marcus!

Stacy Francis “Queen Of The Night” On X Factor Top 11 (VIDEO)

Stacy Francis (Team Nicole Scherzinger) attempted to spice it up a bit with a performance of Whitney Houston’s “Queen Of The Night” (from “The Bodyguard”) during a night dedicated to the movies at the “The X-Factor” Top 11 live show on Wednesday (November 9)- watch video below.

The X Factor Top 12: Boys, Groups, Over 30′s & Girls (Bios, PHOTOS)

What was Nicole Scherzinger thinking? No one really knows that song, which was written by mentor L.A. Reid. Stacy was pitchy all over the place, especially when she hit higher notes. Whatever she is wearing is absolutely hideous, wrong song choice… it’s like watching a train wreck!

L.A. Reid just admitted he is certainly not proud of that song he co-wrote, but said Stacy did better than he expected. Paula Abdul calls Stacy a Diva (here we go!) and confessed she never liked that song. “I can say that because I co-wrote the song. Disrespectful!” said L.A.

Simon Cowell criticizes her outfit, saying she looks cute but he would have her wear that dress somewhere else. OUCH. Nicole drops her usual verbatim: “You shined from within tonight. You’re empowering to all women out there.” Oh, SHUT UP! L.A. is the epitome of awesome with this line: “I like you better when you cry!”

Rick Perry Forgot Tonight that He Wanted to be President (Video)

Texas governor Rick Perry had a moment he’d soon like to forget at tonight’s Republican Presidential Debate.

Perry simply forgot everything when trying to name the three agencies he would get rid of if he were elected President.

Words won’t do his gaffe justice. You must watch it above to fully grasp how any chance of him being elected President went out the window tonight.

Ronald Reagan was accused of having Alzheimer’s in his last years in the White House and he never made a memory mistake like Perry had tonight. Ron Paul and the other candidates on the stage with Perry at the debate couldn’t believe it and laughed at him.
