Supernatural star Jared Padalecki and his wife Genevieve Cortese, who tied the knot in February 2010, have confirmed they are expecting their first child, a baby boy, in March 2012. The parents-to-be could not be happier about finally starting a family of their own.

Jared and Genevieve have been reading parenting books and discussing baby names for their bundle of joy. Although the 29 year-old actor didn’t have a preference for the gender of the child, he confessed he had the feeling their first child would be a girl.

“I originally had the intuition that it would be a girl — shows what I know!” Jared told Tonic. “As cheesy as it sounds, I really want, and wanted, nothing more than a healthy baby.”

The Supernatural fans’ response to the baby news has been overwhelming, but the couple asked whoever planned to send them gifts to pass them along to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

The two acts with the lowest number of votes, The Stereo Hoggz and InTENsity, performed in front of the judges for survival. The judges will have to pick who they want to send home. If there is a tie, the act with THE lowest number of votes will be eliminated.

The Stereo Hoggz took over the stage to deliver a classic boyband performance of “Emotion”, which was written by the Bee Gees (1977) and also recorded by Destiny’s Child in 2001. The kids from InTENsity were next with a rendition of Idol Kelly Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You” (watch videos below).

It’s time for the judges to make their decision. Simon Cowell surprisingly wants to send The Stereo Hoggz, who he labeled one of the best boybands in the world at the moment, solely based on their “survival” performance. The Top 12 kicked off the show with a sort of disastrous performance, clearly lip-synched, except for the young rapper Astro, who messed up and forget part of his lyrics, but dared to deliver his lines in loco. This was a pretty disappointing performance considering the amount of talent per square foot.

“The Rum Diary” became Johnny’s least successful movie with a poor opening week in the US. Hopefully, it can do better outside of the US. I’m pretty sure most Americans will never understand the genius mind of the writer behind this story.

GWAR’s lead guitarist Cory Smoot best known by his stage name, Flattus Maximus, was found dead one of the tour buses during the heavy metal band’s trip from Minneapolis to Edmonton, Canada for an upcoming concert on Thursday (November 3).

GWAR’s lead singer, Dave Brockie also known as “Oderus Urungus” described Cory as one of the most talented guitar players in metal. He also stated: “There is no word as to the cause of death and the members of GWAR are completely shocked and devastated that this has occurred.”

Kim Kardashian, who announced she was divorcing her husband Kris Humphries on Monday, has cancelled appearances in Australia to fly home with her sister Khloe, cutting the trip short.

Kardashian was slated to appear at the Melbourne Cup Carnival for Swisse vitamins marquee on Saturday, for which she was reportedly to be paid $150,000. After she cancelled, reps tried to convince Khloe to take her place but she refused. A spokesman for Swisse said:

“All indications were that Kim wanted to fulfill all of her commitments once she landed in Australia but has obviously changed her mind given her very difficult personal challenges at the moment.”

The newlywed had only been married for 72 days when she filed for divorce. “I love our fan base out here. Of course I do really want some time to myself and it has been tough,” she said. “But I didn’t wanna bail on everyone and, you know, skip out on this commitment.”

I’d say giving yourself some time would be a good idea. We don’t want to look like a fame whore, do we?

Who Will be Eliminated on “The X-Factor”? Tonight (November 3) at “The X Factor” live results show, the dream will over for one of the Top 12 contestants, who performed for your votes for the first time yesterday.

You’ve got the power to decide who will win the first season of “The X Factor USA”. You were allowed to cast your vote for your favorite(s) contestant(s) in 5 different ways, which included the typical phone calls and texts, and via The X Factor apps, Facebook and Twitter.

After the nationwide vote, the two contestants with the least number of votes will be forced to perform for their lives in a special “survival round” in front of the judges. The four judges will decided who is sent home.

Who will land in “The Factor” bottom 2? It’s not easy to predict how the public at home voted and if they even bothered to vote. Based on the Top 12 performances last night, InTENsity and Chris Rene are in my bottom 2.

Although the “Young Homey” rapper is losing some steam every week, he must still be one of the favorites. So Chris should be pretty much safe tonight. On a “blind” guess, I’ll say InTENsity and LeRoy Bell (OH, NO! please, do not send Leroy home!) will have to battle it off on the stage to continue in the competition.

LeRoy deserves to be on that stage, but that song choice was a killer. His mentor (Nicole Scherzinger) must really hate him or have absolutely no idea what she is doing. Simon Cowell could really turn Leroy into a megastar.

And no matter how sweet and cute they are, the young group InTENsity is without a doubt the weakest link in the Top 12. I won’t be too sad to say goodbye to the teeny boppers because they annoy the hell out of me. Auf Wiedersehen!

When asked about how uncomfortable it was to direct such an intimate scene, Bill confessed that it became quite easy and fun because Robert and Kristen already knew each other well and were pretty comfortable.
