The 33 year-old Pussycat Doll was originally set to become a co-host for the show before producers decided to get rid of Cheryl Cole. Nicole and Steve spent a whole lot of time together strictly to build some chemistry and things developed from there.

“From the beginning, ‘X Factor’ executives encouraged Nicole and Steve to build their chemistry, and get to know each other better over drinks,” an insider told Heat magazine.

The lovebirds must maintain their relationship a secret until Simon Cowell gives them permission to go public, which would explain why the mentor’s rep vehemently denied the rumors, saying, “Nicole is not dating Steve.”

Nicole and Steve might not be an official item yet, but they would look pretty damn good together. The 34 year-old X Factor host is a ladies’ man – Steve was previously romantically linked to Pamela Anderson, Halle Berry and Hayden Panettiere.

Actor Wyatt Knight, best known for his role as Tommy Turner in the “Porky’s” trilogy, was found dead at an isolated area near his home in Maui, Hawaii last week (on October 26).

The authorities are currently investigating the case, but they believe the 56 year-old most probably committed suicide. An autopsy has been performed and the results are pending.

The upcoming sixteenth season of “The Bachelor” starring Ben Flajnik, a former Bachelorette contestant rejected by Ashley Hebert, is set to premiere January 12, 2012 on ABC.

While Ashley is happily engaged to JP Rosenbaum, Ben still hasn’t found love. The 29 year-old California winemaker will be looking for the woman of his dreams in a series of dates with beautiful Bachelorettes vying for his heart.

And the best way to Ben’s heart is through Scotch, his loyal Jack Russell Terrier. The producers of the show are pretty excited to have Ben since they believe he could become “ratings gold”.

Actor Leonard Stone, who played Violet Beauregarde’s dad in the 1971’s “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”, sadly passed away after a long battle against cancer on Wednesday (November 2).

The 87 year-old loved his job and made special appearances in more than 120 television shows and 35 movies since he began acting in 1956. Leonard’s played his last role in “Surrender Dorothy” at the age of 83 back in 2006.

“The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” star Taylor Armstrong revealed she has been dedicated more and more time of her life to battered women foundations after the tragic death of her husband Russell Armstrong, who committed suicide less than three months ago.

Taylor will continue to be an advocate for victims of domestic abuse through her work with 1736 Family Crisis Center. She is currently working on the Fashion for a Cause show and claims she wants to start helping women gain their financial independence.

Actor Stanley Tucci is reportedly engaged to marry Felicity Blunt, actress Emily Blunt’s sister, who decided to set the two up. Emily and Stanley became good friends on the set of the movie “Devil Wears Prada”.

The 50 year-old wasn’t really expecting to find love again after the death of his first wife, Kate Tucci, who lost a long battle with cancer in April of 2009, but he is truly happy with his fiancée.

“Emily loved Stanley on the set of Devil, and just thought they would hit it off, so she set them up.”

“Stanley is very happy with her [Felicity],” the source says. “It hasn’t been easy for him getting into a new relationship, but Felicity is a lovely person and very warm and comforting.”

Stanley has been making a lot of trips to London where Felicity works for a literary agency. In Stanley and Felicity’s latest public appearance in NY a couple of days ago, Emily’s sister was wearing what looked like a gorgeous engagement ring.
