Simon Cowell knows best. Nicole Scherzinger just has to admit she only got it right with Stacy because Simon actually gave her directions. With that said, I believe Stacy is a great singer, but she is not exactly what America expects an X-Factor winner to be. Or is she?

L.A. Reid said Stacy is getting better every week. Paula Abdul thought she just witnessed a real magical moment. Simon bragged and demanded a kiss from Stacy, before saying gospel is what she should have been doing from the start.

Can you say cliché? Mentor L.A. Reid wrote this song for Bobby. Marcus was forced to work on his dance moves to become a new version of Bobby. Marcus seriously doesn’t need to be a new Bobby or whoever, because he is his own self with a wonderful voice and the right attitude to own a stage anywhere in the world.

Nicole Scherzinger felt just like she was at a concert. Paula Abdul said Marcus is the total package. Simon Cowell admitted it was a narcissistic yet brilliant song choice. L.A. Reid retorted, “We could have done one of yours [songs], but…” OH SNAP! Marcus’ mentor claimed he just keeps getting better and better and America loves him.

The new American beauty started the song in a bed of flowers. Drew has a beautiful, sweet, soulful voice, but she looked a bit awkward walking from one side of the stage to the other. The girl also knows her stuff about music and, more importantly, knows exactly what she wants.

L.A. Reid said Drew has the spirit of a superstar with an amazing voice and tone. Unfortunately, Drew’s got the wrong mentor. Nicole Scherzinger claimed the singer is relevant and can sing whatever she wants from folk to R&B. Paula Abdul just lives for Drew’s last note. And Simon Cowell claimed to be seeing a star emerge in front of him, and told Drew really is his mentor. LoL.

This kid is a star. He acts like a star. And he writes his own rap rhymes to include in his performances. Nicole Scherzinger wanted to hit the club with Astro. Paula Abdul said he is bold, daring and marches to the beat of his own drum. Simon Cowell just loves the fact Astro’s ego is getting bigger, labeling him a “little star”. Mentor L.A. Reid was very proud.

Fun-omenal.” Simon Cowell knows he shouldn’t like them, but said they were terrific and called them rebels. Seriously? Paula Abdul thanked them for working so hard.

Josh is such a talented singer. Nicole Scherzinger keeps messing around with the most ridiculous song choices. Such a “fragile” song just highlighted the singer’s weaknesses instead of showing his power. Anyhow, Josh deserves to be on that stage and we want to see him again next week.

L.A. Reid is digging the new Josh. Paula Abdul believes Josh can sing anything and thought he nailed it. Simon Cowell said the risk paid off and Josh owned the song. Nicole claimed to have felt Josh’s voice running through her veins as she tried really hard to fake some tears.

Simon Cowell must be really proud of himself for bringing Melanie back to the competition because she is indeed a great singer. Although her vocal performance was almost perfect, Melanie lacks a certain charisma, that “je ne sais quoi” the show is supposedly looking for.

L.A. Reid praised the song choice and Simon Cowell for bringing her back. Nicole Scherzinger said there are no limits for what Melanie’s voice can do. Paula Abdul compared the singer to fine china, while Simon admitted that he had no idea how good she really was.

Holy wind machine. The hair. It’s all about the long beautiful hair blowing with the wind. Oh, the singers’ glow and different colored prom dresses. Wow. Paula Abdul really is a visionary mentor. Anyhow, these four girls were thrown together (against their will!), but they have really developed a good chemistry.

L.A. Reid claimed to have felt the harmonies, but he wants them to become either pop or country. Nicole Scherzinger thought they sounded like one voice. Simon Cowell saw massive improvement, yet hated their “4 Seasons” prom dresses, saying the idea was insane – Paula Abdul’s style!

The girls’ mentor just wanted Simon to go back to London, where he can be miserable all year long, so she can finally get some frozen yogurt. Girls!

Rachel is the sunshine of this competition. The girl is absolutely adorable and she’s got pipes. Oh. There was a little lyrics change from “Walking On Sunshine” to “You’re My Sunshine”. Why? Simon Cowell just likes to keep things interesting for his own amusement I guess.

This song choice just proved Nicole Scherzinger has absolutely no idea how to mentor her group of over 30’s singers. Now let’s just take a moment to appreciate LeRoy’s godliness at the age of 60. The grandpa has one incredible sweet velvet voice, but the song and set made him sound and look dated. Nicole is ruining it for LeRoy!

L.A. Reid agrees with me – Leroy was incredible, but he didn’t get the song choice. Paula Abdul pointed out the singer really worked hard. Uh oh! Simon Cowell believes LeRoy is a good singer with a confidence issue, adding Nicole still doesn’t really understand her own pupil. Nicole’s verbatim: “Sometimes less is more.”

Chris is not a ballad type of singer. He is a rapper. That is what really makes him shine. We are still waiting for a performance as good and as moving as the one he delivered in his first audition when he introduced his “Young Homey” to the world (watch video here).

Nicole Scherzinger throws up some verbatim: “I have so much mad love for you.” Paula Abdul was proud of Chris too for owning the song. I’m not so sure about that. Simon Cowell saw improvement, appreciated his honesty, but claimed his mentor literally put Chris in hell referring to the pyrotechnics. L.A. Reid replied Chris had the fire cause he’s hot.

That was a pretty good performance, I have to admit. The Stereo Hoggz just needed to get rid of that lame 90’s boyband beginning and get straight to the real action. The wardrobe and choreography were pretty rad, thanks to their extremely proud mentor Paula Abdul.

L.A. Reid was impressed, claiming they have what it takes to be a star. Nicole Scherzinger was lost (as usual!) watching the band perform. We wish Nicole would actually be less lost as a judge. Simon Cowell said The Stereo Hoggz are one of the best groups he has seen in one of these competitions and even one of the best in the world. Wow.
