Fallen NASCAR star Jeremy Mayfield was arrested for possession of 1.5 grams of methamphetamine after the police searched his home in Catawba, North Carolina on Tuesday night (November 1).

Police received a tip there were stolen good in Mayfield’s home and executed a search warrant, when they found meth and some items that may be stolen (yet to be verified). Mayfield was promptly arrested and released a few hours later on $3,000 bond.

According to TMZ, among the stolen items in question were approximately 40 firearms (mostly rifles and shotguns), Red Bull racing gear, commercial sound equipment and industrial machinery. It is yet to determine if the firearms belong to Jeremy, and if they were all properly registered.

The 42 year-old NASCAR driver was suspended from the competition when he failed a random drug test back in 2009 and he hasn’t raced ever since. Mayfield claimed those results were positive because he was taking allergy medicine and Adderal for his ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).

I was personally offended the legendary Boyz II Men accepted to take the role of Bieber’s backup singers in the begin of the performance, which was accompanied by Mark Ballas and Chelsie Hightower on the dance floor.

Justin Bieber is a DADDY? A 20 year-old woman named Mariah Yeater claims she had a steamy sexual encounter with the “Baby” singer backstage at one of his concerts in LA last year, and he is the father of her 3 month-old baby boy.

Mariah filed a lawsuit to demand a paternity test to “scientifically” confirm Justin, who’s currently dating former Disney star Selena Gomez, is the baby daddy, so he can “provide adequate support for my baby.” JBieber’s camp vehemently denied these allegations.

Bieber’s rep said in a statement: “While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.”

Mariah is most probably just trying to pull some sort of publicity stunt. On the other hand, I’m always curious about what really happens backstage at those Bieber concerts. Anyhow, Justin will be able to start legally spreading his seed in a few months when he turns 18.

David’s magical Cha Cha proved the actor was starting to become a dancer, but that was still not enough to take him off the bottom of the leaderboard. David and Kym were joined by Nancy Grace and her partner Tristan MacManus in the bottom two.

Shockingly, the people at home decided to keep Nancy for another week and gave David the boot. The 40 year-old become one of the most entertaining dancers in the competition and the audience in the studio was certainly not pleased with his elimination.

“This whole thing has been incredible,” David said after learning his fate. Adding, “But there must be a mistake [because] this is my show.” AH! Take that, Maksim Chmerkovskiy! Bless David for his sense of humor.

“Kym, thank you so much,” said David. “You’ve been so patient and sweet. I just love all the people I got to know and dance with.”

Another good and entertaining dancer leaves the competition. David said DWTS was a wonderful experience, during which he was able to regain some lost confidence and make his daughter Coco, who was always cheering for daddy in the audience with her mama Courtney Cox, proud.

“New Girl” star Zooey Deschanel and her husband, rocker Ben Gibbard, who tied the knot in September 2009, have amicable and mutually decided to separate, the actress’ rep confirmed.

“It was mutual and amicable,” a source adds. “There was no third party involved. The intention is to move forward with a divorce.”

The 31 year-old, who recently had the honor of singing the National Anthem at a World Series game (watch video here), and the 34 year-old Death Cab for Cutie frontman met through their music manager three years ago and hit it off.

When asked about the trials and tribulations of married life, Zooey said, “You can’t expect to make no effort. You still have to make the effort and be kind and understanding. It sort of just solidifies your commitment.” Hopefully, there’s still hope for reconciliation for Ben and Zooey.

Hope’s partner, who so heroically defended her against the judges last week, basically manhandled her in front of everybody during rehearsals (watch video here).

British actor Hugh Grant, best known for his roles in romantic movies like “Bridget’s Jones Diary”, “Notting Hill” and “Love Actually”, confirmed that he welcomed his first child, a healthy baby girl earlier this month, but chose to not reveal the baby mama’s identity.

“I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl. He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms,” Hugh‘s spokeswoman told Reuters.

The 51 year-old actor, who has previously expressed his desire to become a daddy some day, did not plan to have this baby, but sources believe he is going to do a wonderful job raising the child. Hugh and the mother of the child had a short-lived affair and are no longer together.

Hugh was recently romantically linked to Chinese actress Tinglan Hong. Could she be his baby’s mama? The actor also had high-profile relationship with model/actress Elizabeth Hurley, whom he dated for 13 years before breaking up in 2000, and British socialite Jemina Khan (from 2004 to 2007).
