“The X Factor” judge Nicole Scherzinger was allegedly so devastated by Rachel Crow’s elimination that she couldn’t stop crying as she ran backstage after sending her and Marcus Canty to “Deadlock” and being booed by the audience on Thursday.

Nicole reportedly hysterically cried for more than half a hour in dressing room, where the ousted contestant acted like a grown up and comforted her, asking the Pussycat Doll to stop crying and assuring her she is going to be okay (watch video below).

Poor Rachel is so sweet! Nicole had the opportunity to save Rachel, sending a contestant who has been in the bottom twice before home, but she didn’t. So it’s time for Nicole to start acting like an adult and take full responsibility for her actions.

Ironically, X Factor just released a video of Rachel and Nicole’s backstage encounter in a desperate attempt to calm down angry fans. In the video, Nicole says, “I couldn’t make that decision on my own … I didn’t send her home. I adore Rachel. When I saw Rachel’s look on her face, I just died inside.”
