In an interview at ABC Family’s Winter Wonderland, Troian Bellisario revealed the four girls of “Pretty Little Liars” are in big trouble with the law after they were caught with their best friend Alison’s murder weapon on the upcoming second half of the second season of the hit teen drama.

The 26 year-old actress, who plays 16 year-old Spencer Hastings on the show, also said the girls are currently fighting over how to handle the bad situation they are on, which ultimately affects their quest to find the identity of the person (“-A”) threatening to expose all their naughty secrets via anonymous text messages.

“It’s the biggest time-jump we’ve ever done. A month goes by before you come to find the girls. They’ve just been accused of manhandling Allison’s murder weapon, which of course A planted in their hands, so you come back and the girls are definitely in trouble with the law.”

Troian continued to tell OK!: “They are definitely in trouble with each other because they are at such dire straits with each other that they all have differing opinions on what to do and what would be right to do. It gets in the way of a lot of really good decision making.”

As for how she will spend the holidays, Troian is hoping to visit her boyfriend, actor Patrick J. Adams, who she met when he guest starred on the show last year, and enjoy the cold Christmas weather in Canada.

Troian said, “I’m going to go visit my boyfriend in Canada, and it’s awesome because they actually have seasons. I grew up in L.A., where it’s like hot on Christmas, which I really like. I like palm trees with lights in it, but it’s really cool to have a season and feel Christmas-y and have it be cold outside.”
