It was confirmed late Saturday night that LA Lakers player Lamar Odom, husband of reality star Khloe Kardashian, had been traded to the Dallas Mavericks.

It’s unclear why Odom was traded from the Lakers, but online sports bloggers are speculating that the team wasn’t pleased with his $17 million salary, and they were ready to make room for new players. Regardless, this means a move is on the horizon for the Hollywood couple.

Kardashian admitted to a follower on Twitter that she’s sad about the news. ”We are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative,” she Tweeted. But said in a later post, “I have no doubt about it! I am excited I know this is for a reason.”
