NBA star Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa Bryant is just gold-digger like her mother, according to her former step dad Stephen Laine, an inventory manager who was tricked by the matriarch and is being forced to pay spousal support since they divorced back in 2003.

Stephen was married to Vanessa’s mother from 1990 to 2003 and helped to raise the now basketball wife. The bitter man accuses both women of playing the ten year marriage card in order to get spousal support for life.

Laine told TMZ, “Her mother taught her well to wait for the ten-year mark [before divorcing]. In California … it’s considered a long term marriage and then she gets paid for life or until she remarries … just like her mother is doing to me.”

“I have to pay her mom $1,800 every month and clearly they don’t need it. I have a six-year-old daughter and that money could be used toward her college fund or something… you’d think she’d care… but no, she’s spiteful.”

Vanessa’s mother is currently living the good life in one of Kobe’s mansions and is also being “supported” by her daughter. Life is good for the typical gold-digger, but life is even better for pro-basketball gold-diggers.
