Actor and comedian Russell Brand has officially filed for divorce from his pop star wife Katy Perry, making him the dumbest man to ever walk the earth.

Brand cites “irreconcilable differences” in the papers, which are believed to have been filed today. It appears that Perry was blindsided by the papers.

He also released a statement, saying,  ”Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”
