David Arquette is ringing in 2012 happy and healthy by celebrating one year of his sobriety.

The Dancing with the Stars contestant took to his Twitter to share his joy with his family and friends. “Today marks 1 year of sobriety for me. I thank God for the strength and guidance and my family and friends for their love and support & I [thank you],” Arquette wrote.

After splitting from his wife Courteney Cox in October  2010, Arquette’s drinking reached a peak. He entered rehab in January 2011 and has been on the right track ever since.
