Jason Trawick proposed to his girl with an incredible one-of-a-kind diamond ring on the day of his 40th birthday. Britney Spears proudly showed off her sparkler designed by Neil Lane while celebrating her engagement in Las Vegas.

Celebrity jeweler Neil Lane revealed he designed the tiara-motif ring worthy of a princess from scratch. The infamous ring has a perfect round white diamond in a handmade platinum setting that looks like a “mini-crown” and 90 small round diamonds around the eternity band.

Neil Lane said, “She’s his everyday princess. Jason is a romantic and when I asked him to tell me about Britney and what the ring would represent to them so I could find inspiration, his response was always the same — she is his princess!”

“Jason didn’t want an over-the-top ring with a giant stone,” he adds.

“He’s deeply in love with her. Britney is his princess and he is her knight in shining armor,” he says. “Jason’s protective of her. He adores her. Every good fairytale needs a princess, and now Britney has a ring fit for a princess!”

Britney is living the perfect fairytale. Jason and the jeweler had been working together to create the ultimate engagement ring over the last month, but he only saw the ring when he picked it up a week ago. And he loved it.

“The guy was so excited and nervous. At the end of the day, even with all the fame, he’s still a normal guy who was about to propose to the woman he loves,” Lane revealed.

Aw. Isn’t Jason the sweetest ever? And he actually does seem like the perfect guy to control all the madness that is Brit’s life and offer her some peace, quiet and stability. I’m so happy for them!

The real drama/excitement was brought by Nicki Minaj, who was impeccably dressed as a Harujuku doll or whatever she likes to describe the hot pink mess that is her signature style.

Actor/singer Joe Jonas rushed to the emergency room at Chirldren’s Hospital in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (December 18). Joe was allegedly suffering with severe stomach pains following a trip to Chicago, where he partied hard nonstop.

Mathew Knowles and Tina Knowles are officially divorced. Beyonce’s parents had been dragging it out for too long, but they have finally decided it was time to get it over with and move on with their lives.

Tina originally filed for divorce back in November of 2009 after Alexsandra Wright filed a paternity suit against Beyonce’s dad. Both Mathew and Tina failed to show up in court and the divorce was dropped in 2010.

Beyonce’s mother refilled for divorce in August 30, and the final decree was issued last month in Texas. In the court documents, Tina claims the marriage was “insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities,” which “prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

NO kidding! First, I was there and Rihanna absolutely killed it. She danced her booty off, run from one side of the stage to the other and interacted with the crowd like no other. Rihanna was so good that I never realized she might have been feeling sick. Seriously?

Singer Joanna Levesque aka JoJo was introduced as the new face of Clearasil’s “PerfectaWash” during a pop-up concert held at Hollywood and Highland in Los Angeles, California over the weekend (more photos below).

The 20 year-old singer, who shot to fame at the age of 14 with the song “Leave (Get Out)”, is finally ready to release her new album called “Jumping Trains”, which she has been working on for more than two years.

JoJo said, “I got to write on this album [about] everything that I was going through, I got to express myself through music. I was going through a lot personally, going through a lot with my career, feeling like I didn’t have control of it and like I was in limbo. I was really frustrated. So my music became aggressive. It became angsty. It became hard. I became that east coast chick, rough around the edges that I am. And I became bold, and I wasn’t afraid.”

JoJo will be back with a more mature and aggressive style. “Disaster” is the lead single off the album “Jumping Trains” set to be release early next year.
