NBA star Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, has finally decided to file for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences today, Friday (December 16). The basketball wife has had enough and ended their relationship because she believes her husband has been unfaithful once again.

The 33 year-old LA Lakers player is allegedly willing to do anything to salvage their 10 year marriage, which was dramatically shaken when he was charged with sexual assault of a woman back in 2003.

As one source puts it, “She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough,” adding, “This one is the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Vanessa, 29, is seeking joint custody of their two daughters, 8 year-old Natalia and 5 year-old Giana, and requesting spousal support. The couple has no pre-nup, so she will walk out with half of everything that Kobe earned/built in the past decade.

The divorce petition was signed by Vanessa on December 1st and Koby signed the response on December 7th. A few minutes after Vanessa, who’s being represented by Laura Wasser and Samantha Klein, filed the petition, Kobe accepted to pay spousal support.

The pop princess is officially engaged after her boyfriend proposed on his 40th birthday Thursday night (December 15) in Los Angeles, California. Jason reportedly went down on one knee and proposed with a big Neil Lane rock.

It’s the end of the home makeover era!

ABC announced the decision to cancel “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” hosted by Ty Pennington after nine seasons. The show will go out with a bang in what promises to be a heartbreaking, tear-jerking 200th episode on January 13, 2012.

Interior designer Michael Moloney released the following statement:

“For nine seasons, I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to change lives across the globe with the help of loving communities, generous sponsors, and a cast that has become my second family.

I was lucky to have this show as a perpetual reminder of my own blessings, but my work won’t stop with the end of the series. It is with a somber heart I close this chapter, but with such excitement I begin the next one.”

“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” kicked off with an average of 16 million viewers back in 2005, which had been gradually decreasing to less than 9 million last season. ABC announced the Emmy-winning series will return for a few periodic TV specials.

Oskar goes on a journey to find a lock-box opened by the key left by his father (Tom Hanks) after he lost his life in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

“Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” is hitting theaters on December 25 in a limited release, before it premieres worldwide on January 20, 2012.
