British actress Kate Beckinsale is elegant and stunningly beautiful on the cover of the upcoming January 2012 issue of Redbook Magazine (see more pictures below).

The 38 year-old opened up about her marriage to director Len Wiseman, motherhood, and admitted she would consider nude scenes if given the right script. Kate is just not willing to take her clothes off without good reason since she doesn’t want to embarrass her 12 year-old daughter Lily Mo.

Kate said, “I think it’s worse nowadays, because you do something like that and somebody immediately makes a five-times as long feature on YouTube to rock music, and they play it over and over again. I’m not averse to doing a nude scene, but it would have to be something I felt I could really argue for in front of my daughter, and so far that hasn’t happened.”

Here are some highlights from Kate Beckinsale’s Redbook Magazine interview:

On her husband Len Wiseman: “We’re just a good couple. Having a husband who’s comfortable being very affectionate is important. Women do well with that. If the husband is very loving, the wife blossoms, and everybody’s fine.”

On family time: “We’ve got a kind of unconventional family situation, with two dads, and I’ve always been the constant parent, the one who is here. Even if I’m working, it’s me. So if anything ripples the water, then it’s important to be home. My daughter is about to be 13, and I realize how fleeting time is. I was happy to be around Lily to talk about her day when she got home.”

On her constant state of anxiety: “I’m genetically programmed to be beset with the odd doubt or neurosis. But I’m finally comfortable accepting that rather than trying to cure myself of it.”

Kate will be back to the big screen with “Underworld Awakening” on January 20, 2012.

The famous wig, made of real human hair, is being auctioned off at Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas.

After filming, the wig was kept safe by British wigmaker, Stanley Hall, who then passed it on to a Hollywood makeup artist. Now, the hair is up for grabs, and is expected to bring in $11,000.

Who Won 2011 Amazing Race Season 19? After travelling through four continents, twenty cities and nearly 40,000 miles, the winning team, Ernie Halvorsen and Cindy Chiang, was finally crowned in Atlanta, Georgia.

The two lovebirds took home the $1 million price after beating two other teams (Jeremy Cline and Sandy Draghi; and, Marcus Pollard and wife Amani) to the finish line. Both Ernie and Cindy, who are engaged to be married soon, recognized this experience worked as premarital counseling for them.

“This has been the best premarital counseling that you could ever get,” Chiang said. “I can’t think of anything better in life than to have a husband that could be so supportive and caring even when I’m at my low. It’s really been an incredible experience.”

Cline and Draghi were the second team to cross the finish line at Atlanta’s historic Swan House mansion, while Pollard and Amani made a third-place finish.

No wonder talk show host Rosie O’Donnell is engaged! She proposed to her fiance Michelle Rounds with a $100,000, 4-carat sparkler.

O’Donnell, who shared the news of her engagement with audience members of The Rosie Show during a commercial break last week, told reporters at the Michigan Avenue Magazine cover party at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN, on Tuesday that the actual proposal took place “a few months ago.”

The 25 year-old Playboy cover star confessed she goes along with nature, most probably referring to her attraction to both females and males. “Sex and sexuality are a part of nature, and I go along with nature,” Lindsay told. “I think Marilyn Monroe once said that. I certainly agree with her.”

Rumors are swirling that the psychological thriller American Psycho may be coming to our theatres again. The film is based off of the 1991 novel by Bret Easton Ellis, who has a certain reality star in mind for the lead role: Kourtney Kardashian‘s boyfriend and baby daddy, Scott Disick.

Lionsgate will produce the remake, with the new adaptation being written and directed by Noble Jones.

Upon hearing the news of the remake, Disick wrote on his personal Twitter:

 ”Just heard there doing a remake of American Psycho! best news i have ever heard! i hope they call me! (sic)”

Independently, Ellis wrote on his Twitter account:

“I have warned Lionsgate that I will not approve a new version ofAmerican Psycho unless it stars SCOTT DISICK or [Final Destination 5 star] MILES FISHER.”

He then added:

“I am waiting for Scott Disick to ask: ‘Who in the hell is Bret Easton Ellis?’”
