A trailer for the upcoming movie “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”, a prequel to J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord Of The Rings” trilogy, was just released (watch movie trailer below). If you are a fan of the LOTR movies, you cannot miss this movie.

Martin Freeman plays Bilbo Baggins, a Hobbit approached by wizard Gandalf the Grey (Sir Ian McKellan) to join a crew of dwarves on a quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the dragon Smaug.

American Idol alum Adam Lambert was reportedly arrested outside a gay bar at about 4 a.m. in Finland on Thursday (December 22), after he got into a huge, violent fight with his Finnish boyfriend, reality TV star Sauli Koskinen.

The 29 year-old “Whataya Want From Me” singer was allegedly completely out of his mind and even attacked whoever tried to break up the fight outside the “Don’t Tell Momma” club. Both Adam and Sauli, who became famous as the winner of Finnish Big Brother in 2007, were taken into custody.

The two lovebirds were put behind bars in different jail cells to avoid another lovers’ quarrel. Adam, who is getting ready to release his new album “Trespassing” in March 2012, was in the country to spend a romantic vacation with his boyfriend.

UPDATE: Both Adam and Sauli were released after being questioned since they didn’t have any injuries. After being released, Sauli blogged, “Publicity is not easy, but also celebrities are just human. Love is not easy either, but it lasts forever!”

The Corrs frontwoman, Andrea Corr, and her longtime partner, billionaire Brett Desmond, who finally tied the knot in 2009, are officially expecting their first child together. Andrea is 16 weeks pregnant, so the baby is due in the spring.

The 37 year-old Irish singer, who was forced to cancel a few shows overseas due to her pregnancy, took to her Twitter the thank the fans for their support. Andrea tweeted, “Thank you all so much for such lovely kind messages and well wishes . I’m so happy. X Andrea”

Melanie is an incredible singer, you cannot deny that. However, there’s something missing, a little bit of “star quality” and “charisma” perhaps. R. Kelly is still amazing. This man can sing! He can even sing while trapped in a closet. Kelly said Melanie is going to the moon and revealed that’s the first time he performed it as a duet.

Simon Cowell told people to not listen to “grumpy and dumpy” on the other side of the table.

There is no doubt Melanie won the duet round. Josh Krajcik also did a good job, while Chris Rene was just a total trainwreck.

Nicole Scherzinger gives judging a try, saying “It was a little shaky in the take off,” but she quickly regret it. She added some verbatim for good measure: “You’re infectious. You shine.” Paula Abdul basically said Chris is so honest and transparent that it doesn’t even matter than he can’t sing to save his own life (or something like that!).

Simon Cowell was on a mission to make Chris a frontrunner for this competition, saying he felt his joy and confidence on stage. L.A. Reid declared Chris and Avril were at home since they are two stars that simply complimented each other. What? Excuse me? Uh. Oh. Chris’ neighbor is a mad woman.

Alanis killed it and made Josh look uncomfortable and awkward. I confess I have a major girl crush on Alanis since “You Oughta Know”. This rocking fierce woman cannot do wrong and Josh was clearly intimidated. He admitted so too. Anyhow, I loved it. Alanis claimed Josh is a very soulful man and that was the perfect song for his “deep soulfulness.”

L.A. Reid thought that was such a natural pairing and the performance was surreal. The judge also confessed Alanis’ “Jagged Little Pill” is his favorite album of all time. It’s a confessions night at the X Factor. Paula Abdul declared it was a great way to start the show, and thought Josh held his own while keeping his identity.

Simon Cowell has to judge this because someone actually has to stop throwing up verbatim and high praises to start judging. So Simon thought Josh was definitely intimated by Alanis’ presence and gave his performance an 8 out of 10. Nicole Scherzinger’s verbatim. Yadda, yadda, yadda. After more than ten years together, actress Debra Messing and her husband Daniel Zelman, have quietly and mutually decided to separate, but will continue to be good friends and raise their 7 year-old son Roman together in New York City.

A rep for the actress said in a statement: “Debra Messing and Daniel Zelman privately separated earlier this year after a 10 year marriage. The decision was mutual, and they remain supportive of one another and committed to raising their son as a family.”

The 43 year-old, who stars in the highly anticipated new NBC series “Smash”, met her husband, 44 year-old actor/TV producer, while they were studying at the New York University. The two got married in 2000.

For the sake of their child, Debra and Daniel are currently still living under the same roof, which can only be awkward since they are not a couple anymore, but still have to live together and actually share the same space.

Tonight is the night! “American Horror Story” is coming to an end after a season full of shocking twists and turns, frights, scary psycho characters and more than a handful of deaths. What can possibly happen in the big finale on Wednesday (December 21)?

American Horror Story’s Murder House For Sale

*SPOILER ALERT*

Are you ready to be scared, shocked and clueless? The show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, promised the big finale contains “the most shocking scene we’ve ever done” and I question what could possibly be more shocking than two main characters’ deaths, killing sprees, the rubber man and infantata?

In last week’s episode “Birth”, Vivien (Connie Britton) gave birth and died, Violet (Taissa Farmiga) and Tate’s (Evan Peters) relationship came to an end, and the Constance (Jessica Lange) and Chad (Zachary Quinto) showdown was one of the highlights of the whole season. Can Jessica Lange be anymore flawless? Not even possible.

First, how incredible was Vivien and Violet’s reunion? They are both dead but they don’t have to be alone anymore because they have each other forever. In some sick twisted way, they are both happy contrary to the other ghosts that inhabit murder house.

Ryan Murphy said, “I think when so many people when they think about the afterlife and spirituality and whether you believe in life after death or you don’t, I think if you do the fantasy is people pass on to a sense of peace and closure and you get to be reunited with the people that you loved. That for us was what that scene was about. I thought so many bad things purposefully happened to that family so that particularly for Connie’s and Taissa’s characters I liked that their death were tragedies no doubt, but they’re not alone or lonely like so many ghosts in that house.”

Ryan Murphy answered the burning question about Viotate’s (Violet + Tate) future, and I believe fans of the show will most likely want to give him the same treatment Tate gave Larry (the teen sociopath set him on fire!).

Ryan revealed, “Tate does come back in the finale, and their relationship is played out in the finale. But for the most part that was the conclusion of the relationship. I love what Zach Quinto says to Taissa in the basement like people come up with spells and exorcisms and burning sage in a house. I’ve done that in a new house. They’re just rituals and things to make you feel safer and make you feel there is a logic and an order to the world.”

The big extended final episode “Afterbirth” will mostly focus on Ben’s (Dylan McDermott) dilemma after he lost his daughter and wife to the murder house. In a preview clip, Vivien and Violet are begging Ben to leave the house with the newborn baby, claiming they are in danger every minute they stay (watch video below).

“The final episode was built around the Dylan dilemma: Your beloved wife and your daughter are dead and you know that and you personally feel responsible — what do you do? Do you go? Do you stay? Do you bring people in to help you contact them? We deal with what’s going to happen to this family. And then we deal of course with what happened to the baby? And what is Constance going to do? Constance is a survivor, so how is she going to survive this chain of events? What is she going to do? Also, what’s going to happen to that house?” Ryan said.

Will Ben be able to leave his wife and daughter behind to save himself and the baby? Or will Ben and the baby tragically die in the house and they will all live happily ever after as the most dysfunctional ghost family?

Get ready because “the terrifying truth” will be finally revealed. In the promo (video below), Constance questions Ben: “After everything that has happened, how can you still be so blind?” That’s a damn good question! What the hell is going on?
