“The Bachelor 16” Ben Flajnik is finally given the opportunity to find true love on his own terms in a series of dates with 25 beautiful women, who will be gradually eliminated until there’s only two bachelorettes vying for his heart in a brand new season of ABC’s dating show.

In the first meet and greet, Ben is only allowed to give 18 roses and the first 7 girls are eliminated. For six consecutive dates other two or three girls will get the boot. Then, Ben will visit the hometowns of his final 4 girls to learn more about them and eliminate another candidate.

Finally, Ben’s favorite three bachelorettes will be given the opportunity to spend a lot more time with the object of their affections, trying to convince him they are “the one” in the overnight dates, before he eliminates another girl. In Switzerland, Ben is expected to pick his favorite and propose.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Amber Bacon, Amber Tierney, Anna Snowball, Shira Scott, Dianna Martinez, Lyndsie James, and Holly.

The Bachelor Ben Flajnik Episode 2: Sonoma, CA (18 to 16)

1-on-1: Kacie Boguskie. They watch home movies of each other and also go shopping.

Group Date: 12 of the women audition for a play put on by children.

1-on-1: Courtney Robertson. They go on a picnic, Ben’s dog Scotch makes an appearance.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Jenna Burke and Shawn Reynolds.

The Bachelor Ben Flajnik Episode 3: San Francisco, CA (16 to 13)

Ben meets sister Julia and they ride around on a vespa.

1-on-1: Emily O’Brien. They scale the Bay Bridge and see fireworks. There is a telescope conveniently placed on the balcony at the Fairmont hotel where the rest of the women are staying, and the women can see Ben and Emily kissing. DRAMA.

Group Date: Skiing date involving fake snow and half naked girls. Later, Brittney voluntarily leaves the show.

1-on-1: Lindzi Cox. Took a trolley around town, went to a “Speak Easy” at a place called “Bourbon and Branch”, then headed to a private concert at City Hall put on by Matt Nathanson.

Rose Ceremony: Shawntel Newton, the mortician from Brad Womack’s season, comes out of nowhere to conquer Ben’s heart at the cocktail party. She begs for a chance to date Ben, but he doesn’t give her a rose during the rose ceremony and Shawntel is sent home AGAIN.

1-on-1: Jennifer Fritsch. Dinner and a gondola ride, followed by a Clay Walker concert. They slow danced and Ben kissed her. Jennifer got a rose.

Group Date: Fly fishing.

The Bachelor Ben Flajnik Episode 5: (In Puerto Rico, 11 down to 8 )

1-on-1: Nicki Sterling. They visit a wedding chapel in Old San Juan.

Group Date: Baseball Date.

1-on-1: Kacie Boguskie.

Group Date: Boat ride in the Panamanian jungle then they spend the day with a local tribe painting their faces and wearing tribal clothing.

1-on-1: Lindzi Cox. They jump from a helicopter into the Great Blue Hole.

The final rose ceremony took place Wednesday, November 16th at a location on the mountain called Sunnegga, with the Matterhorn as the backdrop. Both girls arrived at the final rose ceremony via helicopter. Ben got engaged to Courtney Robertson in Switzerland, and is still engaged to her today.
