Country singer Jo Dee Messina gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Jonah Christopher at 2:43 p.m. in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (January 11). Baby Jonah weighed in at 6 lbs., 13 oz.

This is the second child for the 41 year-old and her husband Chris Deffenbaugh, who tied the knot in October of 2007. The couple already has a 3 year-old son named Noah Roger. Big brother couldn’t be more excited about the arrival of the new bundle of joy.

“Noah couldn’t wait to hold his little brother,” Jo Dee says in a statement. “He’s so good with him. God has blessed us so much.”
