Bachelor Brad Womack’s winner/former fiancée, Emily Maynard, is set to look for true love on national television again as she becomes the next star of ABC’s “The Bachelorette” (season 8).

After a failed 7-month engagement, the 25 year-old singer mother was reluctant to accept the offer, but she agreed to be a part of the show once again if they moved production to her hometown of Charlotte, North Caroline in order to stay close to her daughter Ricki.

“It’s official, Emily is the new Bachelorette,” an insider close to Emily tells Life & Style. “ABC is even going to move filming to Charlotte [North Carolina, Emily's hometown]. It won’t be in LA at all.”

The new Bachelorette is expected to begin shooting in March 2011 for the first time in Charlotte, North Carolina instead of Los Angeles, California. Will Emily finally find “the one” she is so desperately looking for?
