Britney Spears’ baby daddy, Kevin Federline aka K-Fed aka K-Fat, was hospitalized after his heart showed signs of distress while he was shooting the reality show “Excess Baggage” in Sydney, Australia on Monday morning (January 23).
The 33 year-old former backup dancer, who weighs 231 lbs and is desperately trying to lose weight, was playing football with an Australian football team when he started complaining with chest pains and started breathing with difficulty.
A spokesperson for TV network Nine, said: “Kevin was at Doonside with the Greater Western Sydney Giants, completing an AFL-related challenge.
“He did this challenge, which was running and catching the ball, then while his in-series weight-loss partner was taking the same challenge, he reported chest pains and a racing heart. Obviously on this show we have a lot of paramedics on standby and they treated him for the first signs of a minor cardiac arrest, called an ambulance and had him taken to hospital.”
Fortunately, Britney’s ex did not suffer a heart attack and is expected to be kept under observation for a few more hours before being released. A few weeks ago, Kevin was also taken to the hospital after he collapsed from heat stress while filming the very first episode of the weight loss reality show.
Get well soon, K-Fed.
