Demi Moore was hospitalized Tuesday night for exhaustion and reported substance abuse issues.

Moore, 49, who recently split from her husband Ashton Kutcher, has dropped out of Lovelace, the upcoming biopic about porn star Linda Lovelace. The actress was set to play Gloria Steinem, a feminist activist who took a stance against the porn industry.

Her publicist confirmed that she is seeking treatment for exhaustion, saying, “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

That film seems doomed. First they lost Lindsay Lohan, now Demi Moore? Maybe it’s just not meant to happen.
