Drew Carey and his girlfriend/fiancée Nicole Jaracz decided to call off their engagement and end their relationship after more than five years together. The two announced their engagement in October 2007 right before Drew replaced Bob Barker in “The Price Is Right.”

The 53 year-old has been raising his ex-fiancée’s son, 6 year-old Connor, as his own and will continue to do so. “He and Nicole still have a great deal of love and affection for one another,” Carey’s rep tells PEOPLE in a statement. “He will still be very involved with their son’s life.”
