Kim Kardashian has been cast in a recurring role on the fourth season of the Lifetime hit Drop Dead Diva, the network confirmed Thursday.

Kardashian, 31, will play “Nikki, Fred’s (Ben Feldman) new love interest who works with his ex on a business venture.” Her first appearance on the show will be this summer on the premiere episode.

“I’m ecstatic to welcome Kim to the Diva family. In discussing the role of Nikki with her, I’m blown away by her smarts, sense of humor, and passion. This series is all about reinvention and I’m so excited to see Kim ‘reinvented’ in the world of Drop Dead Diva,” creator and executive producer Josh Berman said in a statement.

Kardashian is also set to appear in Tyler Perry‘s upcoming film The Marriage Counselor.
