The Descendants star Shailene Woodley, best known for her role on ABC Family’s “The Secret Life Of The American Teenager,” posed with co-star Nick Krause on the red carpet of the 64th Annual Directors’ Guild of America Awards held at The Grand Ballroom in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (January 28).

Shailene wore a lace gown by Valentino that was supposed to bring out a sexier side of the actress, but ended up making the 20 year-old look a bit uncomfortable (perhaps childish… like she just stole that dress from her mama or grandma!). I dunno why. Shailene is a gorgeous girl yet she needs to work on her red carpet persona.
