Whitney Houston’s funeral is a private event reserved for close friends and family members held at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey at 12 pm ET/9 am PT on Saturday (February 18).

Only people who received an official invitation for what Whitney’s family is calling a “home going service” instead of a funeral will be allowed to pay their last tribute to the late singer in loco.

The invite to Whitney’s “home going” reads, “With heartfelt gratitude, the Houston Family requests the honor of your presence at the home going service for Whitney Elizabeth Houston.”

The program for the private ceremony titled “I Will Always Love You” features several pictures of the late singer, who tragically lost her life on February 11, 2012, with some special people, including her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown and her good friend Clive Davis (see picture below).
